Yes, it's legit. We have sold our souls (or at least, I've sold a few that previously belonged to other individuals).
It's kind of like a trial marriage, but still has to be approved by the general memberships of both leagues before it's a full go.
If this does get accepted, both leagues have bought in for a year to see if it will work or not.
