FYI Keeps/HOS/Throb/company
From our pal...
"Meeting is Wednesday March 6th, 2002 and Wednesday April 3rd, 2002. Both are at the Bill Copland Sports Centre (Burnaby near 8 rinks) from 7 to 9 pm. I'm not sure what room we'll be in however there will be a sign on the door.

Yes there will be a fine for not attending - you have to bring beer and pizza to the next meeting!

Let me know who'll be attending."

I have a feeling if I got involved things would be a tad different

Every game would be "bad kit" day or something of the sorts. It would also be a recommendation that consumption is mandatory on the sidelines

I will try to make those meetings SC.

Maybe we should let last years Camps run the Show, all games would have linesman, there would be player Cards, and league games would also be Cup games

"Finally, I got an email from Bernie a while back saying that he's interested in putting a team in however THERE'S NO ROOM!!!! I've got three teams on a waiting list and a fourth that I know of....the only way we'll be letting teams in is if another team drops out. Even then, 16 teams in a league is too much to handle as we don't have the ability to get fields on a priorety
basis (b/c we're not affiliated with BC Soccer hence we go to the bottom of the waiting list)."

Bad Kit Team....

If you want bad kit then you just need to put Locovic on the park. Come to think of it HOS, you've sported some shocking kit as well!

If a keeper wears bad kit then other teams think he can't play, so they under-estimate him.

Look at Wiks for Westside, the best keeper in the league, wtih the worst jersey.

HOS I'm looking forward to the match ups with the HBDE again, and of course the all day barbeques that follow. Dougie and I were saying that SC needs to get the games between our teams at 10am at Osler, so we can sit back and watch the other games while partaking in some libations and burgers.
