more like getting the team on the M form. Any suggestions? Finding a Master's spot might be a little difficult

we'll be calling you back Regs next year if we get our spot back from Nation's Cup. No right peg will be getting on the phone.

Back to back Quad and the first Quint will be on the agenda for next season. And there's talk of Las Vegas tourney or Pacific Cup in Hawaii too.

Jungleboy:

Not sure right now how many spots there are set in VMSL Masters, but I can't see why any of the local geezer circuits wouldn't want a team at your level.

Cheers,

Trece

it's probably more like not wanting to start at the very bottom of Masters and instead poaching or merging with a team in either premier or div 1. Like everyone else, if you're one of the younger teams and can play with skill, you can immediately become a contender.

In the VMSL Master, are only premier and div 1 eligible for cup play?

Sort of by default. This year was bad just because of the horrible weather. Previously, anybody who wanted in badly enough could enter, regardless of the division they were in. The League would just set more playoffs for the spots.

just to shed a bit of light on our game with the dragons, they were up 2-0 at half, and we came back and tied the game up 15 mins into the second. the dragons had plenty of subs compared to our 2, and we ran out of gas. they scored 4 goals in the final 15. we were missing 5 key players, and we did not pick anyone up that was not on our roster for the season. not to take anything away from the dragons; they are a great team and a class bunch, but it would have been a different game if we had our full roster. congrats to the dragons for the win, you guys well deserved it.

b) Panger being the first player on two Quad teams.

c) The Richard's family with both A & B cup winners in the same year. Well done Eggy and Jeff. We had to twist Len's arm with a celebratory beer.

d) Kuschy did a soccer dunk on some poor Romanian defender. Crossbar and in.

e) no yellows and reds for the entire tourney. Lady Byng wasn't accepted.

Average age 34 1/2. Any Master's team available in the near future???
Well done, Dragons. Even though you were the SECOND team to do the QUAD, it is still a great accomplishment.......and congrats to Pooner who has now been a part of TWO QUADS.

2000 is the year that everyone remembers anyway.
