Stallion:

Richmond Senior Soccer - Welcome Page

click on 2008 Cup Draw

A bumpy field filled with bad bounces should favour a team like Whalley.

Ummm, I don't think you have seen Whalley play.

A bumpy field will favour the other Valley entrances, but not Whalley.

Definitely a turf team

leave some used syringes, needles and condoms on the field and whalley will feel right at home.

As JBN said, not at all, we were shellacked in the Cup final in our first game on grass in forever. We have been playing on the bumpy stuff for summer though so you never know

Couldn't find the actual times though, although I like the order of our games. Getting an old PAU team last could really help us as we'll be very short (depending on the time of it).

The bottom line is that the 2000 Richmond Town team would stuff EVERY team this year.

FirsttotheQUAD CSC

Good luck to everyone

Shouldn't Richmond teams win every year though?

Only if they were stacked like Richmond Town 2000.............but the teams now are basically has-beens and generally considered to be Mickey Mouse.

Does anyone know which of those fields are turf, and which are grass?

Funny you mention that. Scottish_kiss has it, and it's still in his fridge as he's not a beer drinker. We actually had a conversation about it last game. Weird. It'll be there, but you better be cheering for us

You are correct that he's with the national team. He's their massage therapist.

Putter,

With the exception of Hugh Boyd Oval and South field, all the others are turf. The beer gardens are going to be a mix of weeds and gravel.

We actually bring them to the field though. It's surprisingly clean before us.
