| Member | WAB, just curious as to what jersey number Brian was wearing yesterday? "Then, with 5 to go, Brian Donald pushed forward and slots a left footer from the top of the box. His 1st goal in 15 years!" "So what? It's the CSL and USL - a glorified VMSL league. Brian Donald's #6 jersey was retired 2 years ago from Sapp and it has the same amount of significance. Come on, now....... "

Post match was classic, love the fact that the WestVan change room has some heritage with the addition of the brass pole from the old Coach House, and the sound system from the old Holidays. Good times, all the boys from West Van are more than welcome this friday at Newton, as for Sap. they are not as welcome, but I am sure they will show up anyways. Lets Go Rangers

| Give Me Strength A Better Bastard | One tooth, you just knocked us three times. Kenno, I will be dragging the bearcubs our there Friday to NAP. But Beeware, here is them in action against SCK and RF, who are managed by Coach, and even Walks in the striped jacket makes an appearance in this one as a member of the Hart Foundation. Gorilla Monsoon and Jesse "The Body" Ventura make the call... PS Note Sir M in the neck brace at the very end on the left.

" Yeah your right Canada probably still owes you a few caps as well... Brian Donald is actually a class guy, shame you didn't learn anything from him.

| Member | I just find it annoying when anyone thinks the CSL or USL is big-time. We all know its for young, aspiring, Canadian kids, being exploited by higher ups - dangling the carrot on a string - promising the unobtainable European contract. A little off topic, but I also find it hilarious when it's reported that every Whitecap "played" overseas at one time or another. As of now, I'm not owed anything...... |

We all know the jump from the VMSL Premier to the USL isn't the highest of leaps...but what is wrong with it? Two current Whitecaps have been named in the National Team for time being (not saying a lot I know, but that is the CSA's fault. Not Adrian Caan and Martin Nash) The MLS is setting out to change this, and if the Caps ever get a proper stadium to get into the MLS things will change for sure. But what does that also say for the level of Soccer below top flight in Europe, especially for the British Nations when the Whitecaps beat Sunderland, and Hearts and scrape out a game with Milwall etc... The VMSL and FVSL premier leagues have good players in them, but why does it irk local senior soccer people when locals get celebrated for their service to the 86'ers and Whitecaps? At least those guys took the chance to play Professionally or semi professionaly...the fickle nature of the "I coulda, woulda, shoulda's" is what annoys me.
