Thank you so much. I would never have gotten this advice from the FVSL Div. 1 thread.

I found the diagrams educational & thought provoking, and the step-by-step process easy to follow.

My feeling is that this methodology can be applied to most situations, but do I need special consideration for brown birds with pencil eraser nipples? Should I instead be playing cricket? I don't know anything about cricket...can there be bat or catching violations?

I know...I'm young, but it helps to have this veteran consult. Back in the FVSL threads, the guys are all ga ga over Betty Rubble and Smurfette cartoons. Wierds.

Honestly Blaze, we get more concerned about the lack of police presence out at Newton, than too many.
I would try to stay away from any cooking that includes open flames and spoons, this allways draws the attention of the locals, other than that it is open season for tandori chicken.

Fair Enough. I was on the Surrey side of White Rock beach saturday night and had a hell of the time with the locals. The cops had no problems with our group nor did the fire dept. Some little 15 year old bastard "punched*" me in the face and then came back with his posse of little hoodlums and threw large rocks at our group. their beachside fire went all Lord of the Flies on us. unfortunately for us they got into their dad's pickup before we could catch him. I was looking to turn him into "Piggy"

Well you should ask your chocolate delights to make a comparison to a tootsie roll. Ask them how many licks it takes to get to the creamy filling. Other game is Hose vs Cliff

My predictions for this week are

Cliff Ave and Big Mario is going to be the first star of this game!

Westside's hot streak comes to an end
as they lose to the island in regulation!

Sapp will probably sneak this one out in OT, just so we don't have to hear WAB post about being owed anything!

And my prediction for upset of the week is Coveside as they come in as a huge underdog, after all everone seems to think that the Coach's league is a few level's below the the Bid Dogs of VMSL and FVSL. Would this be the farthest a NSCL team has ever gone in the provincials?

Just at the one park last Sunday, but can't see Cliff advancing, and was very disappointed in the Island team I watched, they were very organized and fit looking, but zero skill or flair. A very disorganized (in comparison) Coveside did not seem to have any trouble with them at all. Maybe just ferry lag?

Going the other way, Coveside will be in tough, but Westside is tough to beat, Sapp may be young enough to get through, but too tough to call.

Sounds like a good weekend, and here I am going to Squamish in the snow...
