| Member | I guess they are in Chilliwack this year. ![]() My question is, a friends team from the BBY League has already gained a birth. He wants to pick up his alotted five players for the tournament, but was wondering what the rules were. Can he get players from any "B" level team or can they only come from his own league? Anyone have any info? |

| Member | First of all, I think it's a maximum of four pick-ups allowed, plus your roster cannot exceed 18 for the tournament. I am pretty sure the pick ups have to be "B" registered players from within the same league. But you'll want to check with the BCSA ... Richard Rupps is the man to speak too. He knows all the registration and eligibility rules like the back of his hand. Where'd you hear they were in Chilliwack? At least they're close this year. I was dreading they'd be in PG or somewhere up north, as I think it was supposed to be their turn in the rotation. |

| Member | I thought it was Chilliwack though. Has it now changed to Vernon? Well thats sounds swell I heard about that shitty league in BBY. It is going to be tuff for the coach if we do make the provincials cause we have 21 or 22 guys signed on our team. And you say we can only have an 18 player roser?! right. Some guys will have to come up just for boozing ang whoring. |

| Premium Member A Better Bastard | have they figured out how many teams are going from VMSL. I've heard 3/4, and we're in the semis, so we might already be in. But I guess if it's only 3, the semis losers have to play, right? Anyone know which leagues are going and how many or who's representing them? Thanks. Go Cougs. |

| Not too bright BANNED | Dave Irvine at BCSA told me they were doing the draw last Thursday. Yet to see it or get any answers back though. he said they would post it on their website. Doesn't matter, Booked rooms at Casino, Hoping to double the team fund while there. I would rather have C cups |

| Premium Member A Better Bastard | Apparently VMSL is sending 4 teams now and the Cougs ARE one of them. Thanks for the fcuking short notice. The shitty thing is that we have a few bad injuries and some guys who just started new jobs and can't get a day off work. So....we're still not sure if we're gonna accept the offer. It's pointless going with less than 15 guys, but we'll see what happens over the next couple days. I really hope we can get a quality squad together in the next couple days....I would love a chance to avenge our semi-final loss to the blaze. Might have to wait till next year's div 2 cup. I'll know in a couple days....... Go Cougs. |

| Not too bright BANNED | Thr friday game thing is the one getting us. I wish we could play an earlier game against the Shamrock Rovers before we go up so there is no game friday. We hopefully can get 11 for that first game. After that more guys are arriving so we wil be ok for weekend. Am looking for imports though. hoping to find us a couple players. |

| Premium Member A Better Bastard | The Cougs had to officially withdraw from the provincials today. It was so hard to call Ruben and tell him we weren't gonna be able to make it. Fcuking sh!tty feeling, knowing we could've competed. I think we could've made the semis, and probably face the Blaze or CA, but it's not gonna happen. 2 weeks isn't enough notice for some players to get time off work, our goalie included, so we're hooped. I asked Ruben what 'imports' we could pick up, and he said that we weren't allowed to add any players, and that we could only use the players we have signed. Is he right?! Wouldn't surprise me if he wasn't... Anyways, it's too bad that it took BCSA this long to realize that they had 2 extra spots, are they as incompetent as Azzi and Co., idiots. Best of luck to CA and City FC, I'm sure you guys will have to go through one another on the way to the cup. Go Cougs (next year, I guess) |

| Member | I dont think you are allowed any if your team is from the VMSL or VISL. Other leagues, because they are inferior, are allowed to add three players from the same division of which they play the regualr season. Dont quote me....
