If this "valley" team didn't play in the VMSL, do you think that Smiles, Deacon, and Dalrymple would be playing there?

Not to downplay the rest of the squad but I think those are 3 key components to Slurrey finally winning the thing

Seriously though, these players have been around SU for a while...the difference must be the other pieces of the puzzle + an overdue win against westside in the cup, + an apparently weaker peg team I guess...+ the chance to play pau in the final

just checked with the resident mford expert Kenny S. across the office and Deacs was not there in 94 or 99 ( to SU in 98) but Smiles was there in 99.
