[Men Open] 2005 Provincial Draw

A few predictions from past patterns.

Surrey will Draw either an Imperial cup finalist or Side A champ first round. Prediction Inter

At least one FVSL team will draw another and at least one FVSL will draw an island side away.

Since Peg is out I'll predict Westside will get the 'sweet draw' award playing either an Island team at home followed by the winner of the FVSL vs FVSL.

PS. Please don't twist my nipple becuase I said the winner of a FVSL vs FVSL was a sweet draw

KNVB: You are right in the fact that Westside has a sweet draw..I think it is a Fraservalley team.

i believe the draw will actually look a little more like this with respect to the island team placements given the fact that gorge and vantreights are in the jackson cup final.
from first glance it looks as though things are pretty spread out. hard lines on the sapp vs. inter 1st round draw. i'm sure knvb will have a moan about the surrey draw...i see he had one earlier just to get a head start.
looking forward to facing that joel kid in the poco pipes. i remember putting a few by him about 25 years ago back in the poco ticats days. so did chiasson for that matter...won't have to worry about him this year though.

As for the draw, I can't see anyone having a moan with the exception of WAB... Unrucky for Team Iroc and Snappertons... The top half (like the bottom half) of the draw includes 4 VMSL, 2 FVSL & 2 VISL teams... Pretty even if you ask me... Good luck to all...

BTW, how do they decide who's the home team after the first round??? What is the date of the first round???

First team drawn for each pairing in the ladder has home advantage all the way through....

No moans here, my butter dumpling. I was going to say we'll probably draw an Imperial Cup final 4 team but thought that wouldn't really be specific enough. Then I was thinking we were going to get an 'ethnic' team of some sort. That being either Inter (Italians), Croatia (Croatians) or BBY (Idiots). I am glad to see Westside on the other side for once though. I think this is the first year we won't have to play them (unless we're both in the final) since we starting making the provincials.

I like Sporting to come out of bottom side.

Island teams are such the X factor I feel for teams that draw them, especially away.
