Ladner 035 League 2006

The Ladner league is looking for a team to fill a space, If you are interested let me know and I will forward you the details. The ref in charge said he recieved a call from a North Delta team, but when he mentioned the Rangers were in the league he never recievd a call back.

Delta Rangers 7- Lime Green and Lemon Yellow team 1

They were under-manned, but kept it close the first half.
The second half was a different story, and we dominated scoring 5 more.

Delta Landing vs albion.

What to say 5-1, We got thumped. This Delta team has some depth. How they tied the night before is mind boggling.
Hopefully with a few more recruits and a goalie we can be a wee bit more competetitive.

bucky any thoughts on our dilema.

Not a very good game both teams struggled with numbers. We the rangers had 9 players and PFC had 10. However the final score was rangers 7 PFC 1.

Albion (I think) 5 Worst team ever 1

I finally got my first W in the over 35 league as a keeper. Who knew that the magical ingredient was 5 pints before kickoff.?Walks will likely be feeling the damage that was done afterwards at Holly tomorrow. I know the Captain will. KNVB, I heard that you were supposed to show up? Too busy with the 13 year olds eh? Oh well, what are you gonna do?

I'm very surprised that you didn't brag about your keeper kit. You have soft hands buddy, but it also looked like you were pitching slow pitch when tossing the ball out to your teammates

It is very difficult to let this one go......

I haven't played in a game or reffed in a game where one team played a FULL 90 minutes with 6 players and a goalie until tonight. We played the last placed team in the league with 7 men and ended up on the short end of a 6 - 4 score.

We were actually taking the piss in the second half for awhile. God bless the Dynamos but within that 7, 3 guys(of course myself included) were gimpy for one reason or another......Deucey had the line of the night.....

"You guys are ****ing shit."

Their player responded with "That's not very good sportsmanship"

Deucey responded with......."Yah, but you're still ****ing shit."

It was a game I will never forget and probably for all the wrong reasons.

I couldnt help my self.. As you know we had 6 guys and a goalie. We didnt have a midfield. We were missing 4 guys...

I was getting wound up. The other team (as you Know) were whinging about every throw in every offside.. I just couldnt help my self... I didnt mean too be an asshole but I was... They couldnt score in a brothol.

To get scored on 4 times by a team that only had 6 players and really no goalie in net........ You should just hang it up....

Lets be honest....

Thankyou Alikira you did calm me down. I guess the small man syndrom got too me again...

Well played gents. Perhaps with my expert goaltending it could have ended in a W. Probably not though, likely would have been 10 or 12-4.

Epic battle tonight at Holly Park Turf in Ladner, as the upstart Albion Ferries F.C. battle Ladner's Landing in the final. The No. 4 seeded Albion squad upset the number one team, Delta Rangers, 4 - 3 in extra-time last week to earn the honour of playing in the final.

I'm surprised RF hasn't commented on the two goals in the last two minutes of extra-time with ten men to claim a spot in the final.

Steve1234 has been instrumental along with other TTPers Willy, Ginger Tours, Kippax, Animal, Walks, Deucey, One Dart(3 games in net in relief).......

Alikira is ready to go and hasn't felt better in weeks.

A spot on the bench is where I should/will start and hopefully I'll be able to get out there for 20 minutes to say I played in the final of the presitigious Ladner Over-35 league.
