Beach party and Foam party... that definately sounds like good times. I went to a foam party in Cancun and lets just say it's alot more fun when you're single.

Great Great Tournament.
Yes a few week teams, But all the teams who advanced out of their groups were very good.
Camrose won the mens side and they deserved it. A great team.
I recomend this event for all you guys for sure.
Oh and the party ,,well its as good as the Kamloops party.

Thanks Rich,

Canmore not "Camrose" was the winner. 2-0 over us (revelstoke stallions)

We are looking to make the tounament even bigger next yr. Possibly doing a system where if you win the first game you advance to the A pool. If you lose the first game you go to the B pool. From there if you lose your second game, you are out. Found that teams this yr were not to interested in playing the consolation games.

If anyone who attened out tournament has any idea's how we could improve our tournament, please feel free to post. All idea's will be all taken with serious consideration.

Serge

Ideas,,Well it was a great tournament,,very good grass fields,,I would say mabee 2 divisions,,Open and Rec,,that way there would be closer games,,I saw 2 totally different calibers of teams. If you had 2 divisions you would have way better soccer for both types of teams. I saw a 12-1 score and numerous 6-1s or in that area. The second round was great soccer after the weeker teams were eliminated.
One thing for sure,,you need a web site.
Still super fun weekend and we recomend it to everyone.

There is currently 5 fields being used for the tournament. We are looking to make another 2 within the same area as the 4 we use now. We might look at making the tourney 3 days Fri-Sun which would allow more teams, with different divisions. Hopefully we can increase total teams to approx 60 teams and hopefully meet almost everyones needs.
