| Respect & Honour A Total Bastard | August Long Weekend 7vs7 Mini Soccer Tournament Date: Friday August 1, 2008 – Sunday August 3, 2008 Location: Croatian Picnic Grounds (On Sidaway in Richmond) Entrance Fee per Team: $250 Number of Teams: 8 (maximum) Prizes: Cash prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishes Food: Available on Saturday and Sunday Beverages: Available Friday to Sunday Soccer Rules: See HLJNT Mini Soccer Rules (attached or check website Hrvatski Ljetni Nogometni Turnir |) Deadline to Accept Invitation: ASAP or July 10, 2008. The August long weekend tournament at the Croatian Picnic grounds will consist of 8 teams representing various Countries (ethnic backgrounds) with games beginning on Friday evening and ending with the Championship game on Sunday afternoon. The first round of invitations have been sent out to the following groups to represent their heritage (similar to the Nation’s Cup concept) on a first come, first serve basis: Indo (India), Italy (Columbus), Club Ireland (Ireland), Tanoa (Fiji), Polonia (Poland), Club Sporting (Portugal), Vancouver Olympics (Greece), England and Croatia A (2 Croatian Teams). Another round of invitations will be sent out shortly. The tournament will follow the mini 7vs7 soccer rules as observed in the Croatian Summer League (please see the summer league website at Hrvatski Ljetni Nogometni Turnir | or see the attached mini soccer rules attachment). The Croatian picnic ground also consists of a small playground and plenty of space for kids and family to come out and enjoy the weekend while enjoying some competitive soccer. | Member | Just to add...this is open to any team from u17 to...over 35....The first 6 teams to respond(Croatia taking up 2 spots already) will take the spots.. cheers Tony T

| Respect & Honour A Total Bastard | Was there just not enough interest Sniper or other reasons for the event to be cancelled? Unfortunate - the lower mainland needs a few more tourneys on these summer long weekends!
