Uh Oh - Luongo Out

Just read on the NHL website McIntrye has been recalled from the Moose. How will Sanford weather the storm? Can he keep us afloat in the Northwest? Hopefully Lou isn't gone for that long.

Canucks are done if Luongo is out.

I said it in another thread:
The opponents goalie on any given night just has to be half as good as the Canucks goalie.

Luongo is usually brilliant, which gives the Canucks a chance to win every night.
Sanford, at best is an average back-up...and we cannot expect him to play Luongo-esque for any period of time.
Unless the forwards decide to start scoring more than 3-4 goals a night...I could see the Canucks dropping to 10th in the conference quickly.

Good god..the guy has a minor rib injury and everyone thinks Canucks are done....He will be back by the weekend
