The Canucks are playing, I should have left it at an NCAA event

Well at least both Nashville and Colorado lost today... unfortunately they both got single OT loss points.

IF the Nucks manage to get in, I think that means they will be on a little mini-roll (probably need 3 wins in their remaining 4 games) and I like the match-up with Detroit better than San Jose of Minni right now (sounds weird but the Nucks could push Detroit I think).

Go Canucks!

BLOWOUT!!!

If they win out their final 3 would this put them in 6th no matter what the others do?

Just checked and yes, if the Nucks manage to win their next 3, they will finish ahead of Nashville, Calgary (would win on the head-to-head tiebreaker), and Colorado. They could even catch Dallas but that would mean the Stars would have to tank it - wouldn't want to matchup with the Ducks first round anyways so hope for at least a point for the Stars.
