Hold the phone...

The CFL brass has decided that due to a missed pass interference call on the last play of the Lions Esks game...they will need to replay the last down before the start of the Grey Cup Game!

I would say about 20, 000 potential fans.

I am not a hardcore CFL person..but, if the lions were in the cup , I would have been there.
I am pretty sure I am not alone in that.

I would say this is the decline of the Lions.
They had a good thing going with the NHL strike, and were able to showcase the product. They NEEDED to get to the Grey Cup final this year to have any chance at winning over another 7-10 thousand season tickets for next year.
I'll watch the Grey cup as I have in the past...but, I have little interest in attending it.

montreal wills mash edmonton. Edmonton had 2 poor playoff performances, and luckily for them calgary blew it, and the lions only played one half and then got shafter on the worst non-call in "professional" sports history.

Did anyone else soak-up the atmosphere downtown? It was spectacular, especially with VIP passes to get in everywhere. Not a dry throat nor empty belly left behind

Canadian pride was sure out there today and I was happy to be a part of it

What a fricken fantastic game! I'm not a football fan at all and figured I'd flick it too the game every now and then to keep track of the score... wrong...ended up watching the whole game and was on the edge of my seat. Then I flicked it to the Canucks... what a mistake.

not often i lose my voice when the lions arent playing.
Not sure which was the highlight of the game, stallas catch or montreals mascot, or maybe the flashing escepade in the 3rd quarter

the titties in the section 3 over from my seats were the highlight of the game.........
.......but what a fcukin game!!!!!!!
