| Respect & Honour A Total Bastard | Just picked up a pair of Adidas Predators (Absolute TRX FG)... anyone have a pair? They came with the exchangeable sole inserts - one is heavier than the other (and prettier), is this normal? What is your take on the boot for those that have them? And for those that don't, what do you currently have or are looking to get? ~Regs.

| Member | Regs, I got a pair of the Soft Ground Preds, I like them they fit great, but i think the studs are not long enough for a VMSL winter. I picked a pair of the TuneIT boots in Germany I have only really worn them in warm up during Nations, the soft ground studs are very long and I like the idea of being able to customize the sole. Still in my mind the Copas and World Cups are the best, Nike came close this year with the Air Legends but my money will always be spent on the brand with the three stripes I think they make the best boots. Joma sent me a pair of white studded boot with a huge J on the side, I think those will stay in the box int he closet! ![]() |

| Member | copas are my practice boots, here and there games.....Lotto Stadios are the best on market, durability and weight wise...sure you spend a pretty penny and can't change your studs but they are sown at the bottom and the feel you get for the ball is unsurpassed, also the studs for dry ground are longer so you can use them for winter with ease, if you already don't know about this web site www.soccer.com check it out, they have reviews on every product by an actual buyer and not the company, just click on the stars to view them |

| Member | I picked up the Adidas Pred's that you got Reg's and I have to say I love them, but I also have a pair of Copas and I wear them alot lately, I think because everyone has the new flashy boots it's nice to wear something plan and simple. I will say the Puma Kings are also a really nice boot, when I was working at S.city I tried on all the top of the line boots, and I like the Feel of those three the best. Pred's Copas and Kings. |

| Member | I picked up a couple of pairs this summer... TRX firmground blades (last years model) @ the Adidas outlet North of Seattle for $40 US in May... During the World Cup I paid $50 CAN for the new Traxion soft ground blades/studs @ the Adidas outlet in Langley (Kaka & Ballack)... Both boots are size 9 US, but the weird thing was the US bought boots were listed as a 7 1/2 UK and the Canadian boots were a 8 1/2 UK??? The Canadian boots are definately 1/2 size bigger and a bit wider... They are both very comfortable and light weight... I guess after an MCL tear and 5 months of rehab, it's nice to be back playing so I can actually wear them!!! ![]() |

| Premium Member A Better Bastard | Apparently it will be Copa's 50th birthday or something next year and there i supposed to be some big deal made about it. I'm sure they'll release an anniversary boot for twice the price. Well worth it i'm sure

| Member | Last year: Puma King Classics. Really nice boots; they just can't handle all the wet weather games we got stuck with. This year: Diadora Attivas. The arches keep spreading, so I have to keep getting wider boots for my flattening feet... Trece

| Member | I am a huge Adidas fan but I have never liked the Copa...... Wore Puma Kings for a few years when I could still actually test a boots durability and I would say they were my favorite. I now wear Valsport (Fuoriclasse) and find them great also. Tough to find here (expensive) but worth the look. Soft leather and very durable. Designed in Italy so the climate is very similar to ours. Same sole as the Copa. |
