| Premium Member A Better Bastard | No, this isn't a thread about a great referee of our time, but instead the other PNE we all know. I haven't been in a really long time, but the wife is there tonight with the kids, who are scottish dancing on stage there and i assume they're riding the rides as they still arent' home by this threads start time. Has anyone been in a while? All i ever hear is that the parking is expensive and hard to find, and getting in is a pretty penny as well, not to mention the price of ride tickets, food, and games. Is it worth making to trip?

| Member | Fair Gate Pass (6-64 years) $15.00 Fair Gate & Ride Combo Pass (Guest over 48 inches tall) $47.75 So, $15.00 to get in, or $47.75 to get in AND ride all day till you puke. Question: are you people from Maple Ridge born cheap? Is it in the water? $15.00 to get in is nothing compared to what else is out there. Plus, I'm sure you can scour the Entertainment book and come up with some 2 for 1 passes. If you spent as much money as one 'Nuck ticket at the PNE, you get huge value. That said, I won't go...don't like people.

| Member | Well...just got back from re-mortgaging the house after my 5 hour day at the PNE... I spent a pretty penny, and, I didn't even do 1/2 the shite I wanted to do...I only had 1 bag of lil' donuts too (I swear) It's sick now...the entry fee to get in alone is a rip off...and the ride pass...forget about it...right there...$50 BAM, gone! Good times though...it's just something you gotta do! striker14 |

| Member | Hadn't been to the PNE in years and had no desire to until the missus got her shout of the month... Got back from camping early yesterday and figured, her movie selection is always the shits, so how bad can the PNE be??? I cheaped out on the parking (only 3 blocks from the entrance) $0 Fair Entrance x 2 =$30 Bottle of water and a sprite = $6 2 donairs = $14 slice of pizza = $4.50 (brutal quality) "those little donuts" = $3 Orange Julius = $5 Prize home tix = 5 for $25 smelly horses trotting around the agrodome show = $0 Rod Stewart tribute show = $0 Verdict: 4 hours of mucking about the crowds, didn't even enter the beer garden, saw what needed to be seen (thank fcuk she didn't force me to go to the dog show) had "those little donuts" and felt like a kid for a minute, then I realised it was costing me almost $100 bucks and I hadn't been on a ride nor had a pint... Now I know what my da was on about all those years ago!!! I guess it's something you should do every few years... If not to keep face with the missus, then to realise it's not a waste of a $100 to go to the Roxy with the boys no matter what she says!!! ![]() |

Why buy the cow when I'm getting the milk for free? You guys have it all wrong. How many times do I have to tell you? Date hippie chicks. Their version of the PNE is going out in the forest and having sex in the woods. Cost=0 dollars. Fun factor=10x the PNE. | |
