that was crazy...thanks for the post.......

this vid shows once again how pathetic our R.C.M.P are. 3 uturns at 8km an hr and 5 rcmp cars can't stop him. Lucky for them he didnt crash into that school bus or anyone oncoming after they had 3 ample oportunities to stop him.

Nice hit. Kind of makes excessive use of force with a taser look weak.

By my count he only scored approx 68 points. unless there was a cop in that police car, if there was he may have set the high score cause i am giving him bonus points for his landing after getting run by the cops.

I have no problem with how the cops hit him. He deserves it for endangering 100's of people who were out there on the road this am. YOu cannot just stop a truck that size by parkign a vehicle in front of it. They used spike strips and tried to wait him out. What i don't understand is why the cops didn't stop traffic 5 or 6 miles from going near there.

At least there's a silver lining in it for the tweaker. A half dozen personal injury lawyers would've been watching that newscast and any one of them will work tirelessly on his behalf to see to it that the RCMP pay for their carelessness (less their 33%).

Great video - the kid got rocked- the flailing seemed oddly familiar to me from afar.

Anyone know where Zaurrini was this morning? Hope he didn't mess of that fib of his.

Tim, with all due respect, give your head a shake. I was talking to someone I know who was a lot closer to this than I am sure you were Little easier commenting from your couch. WTF do you know about police pursuits and public safety? The guy said he was going to blow up a bridge. So rule number one for the police is the guy has a bomb. And rule number two he has mental issues, is on drugs, and is driving a vehicle which can flatten any cop car easy, is trying to get naked and hurt/kill the police and the public, and wants to be killed in a rural area where the RCMP probably do not have a ton of Jack Bauer-esque resources at their immediate disposal. What would you do in that situation, knowing you had a wife and kids at home and all? Please do tell? Soil your pants and look for YouTube finds? Rule one when you are outmatched, is you slow things down and get time to be on your side until you have resources available to get an advantage. That is what these officers did.

Additionally, not that I would know, but there is no way that SUV that "rammed" the guy I would bet was an "undercover" cop car. Undercover means (last time I watched TV anyway) that you do not get noticed. And punting some suicidal/homicidal/mentally disturbed/drugged up fleeing person with your SUV to bring him under control with a TV helicopter filming live is not exactly consistent with not getting noticed. I will bet you there was a salivating good to go, highly trained and hungry approx 100 pound German Sherpherd in the back seat of that "undercover" SUV. And if that dog was let loose, it would have been a helluva lot worse for the "suspect".

So quit defaulting to knocking the RCMP all of the time, and parroting people that make a living selling newspapers by knocking the RCMP when you know nothing about this. These police officers did a damn good job here under the circumstances, and are not the pathetic ones.

And I, for one, thank these guys for making us safe at night.

Okay,

Now that dickens is off his soapbox we need to get back to the task at hand...

THAT WAS AWESOME!!!

I haven't seen anyone hit like that since Last weeks episode of Cops, or DEA, or whatever trainwreck reality TV is on Spike right now...

It is always cool to see some wide-o careening around corners at highspeeds in a (probably) un-road-worthy Farm Vehicle...

That is Trailer Park Boys (naked guy steals coveralls and 10 ton truck)
meets
Cops (obvious)
meets
25 Dumbest Criminals Ever
meets
Grand Theft Auto IV
meets
a replay of OJ and the White Bronco

Un-seriously, that made my day
Seriously, thank God nobody save retard, got hurt.

In the 20 mins or so that this was going on, could one of the highly trained officers not have used his radio and asked for a tire belt/spikey thing?
They must have those out in the burbs.

You are just as under qualified here in your reply as the four 6' 2'' 210lb R.C.M.P officers were at the airport when they figured it was best to kill a tired sloppy weak 50 yr old instead of subduing him without injury.

I live in Ridge/Meadows and know the farm the naked guy stole the truck from. **** off with the bomb bullshit, that was never an issue. The cops knew he stole the truck and that he showed up to the farm with absolutely nothing, including clothing. The truck had nothing on it and they were well aware of no such catalyst to blow up a bridge. They are lucky that no one was hit head on and killed. If you feel safe at night, you aren't out in at night , probably sitting at home shitting yourself sifting through sir ms power rankings, giving your bullshit opinion which no one cares about.

I am fair when it comes to disrespecting anything. I believe that over the past few yrs that the RCMP have shown us all that they arent attracting the appropriate people into the force. 4 in shape full grown men cant take down a tired old 50 yr old with their bare hands? What type of training are these pussies getting?

The only thing that was done properly was by the cop at the end in the black suv. He appeared to act out of anger and frustration at his pathetic rcmp officers.

All I'm saying that they got lucky today, had that freak taken out that school bus or hit a vehicle head on, all anyone would be asking is why did it take them 55 minutes to stop him?????? They had him pulled over before this whole chase began? They let him start up that truck and take off. Thats a seriously embarrassing police force.

how can you stick up for them???

I'm with JBN on this one.
Fcuking LOVED IT when the tit got rocked.

Woke up late today, turned on the Tele in bed and wham!
Sociopath fcuking smoked!

Seriously, that was quick and awesome police work and within 3 seconds had the guy down and done once he got out.
I beg to disagree Timbit.
Not the first and won't be the last time...

My wife and I couldn't believe it watching the whole thing live.
Unbelievable and thought the channel was KTLA not Global.

The farm workers who called the police told them of a man showing up naked, stealing some overalls, stealing an empty truck and leaving. The rcmp knew of this before they pulled him over. I know of this because I live 3 minutes away and I watch the news. More importantly I am almost sure that our rcmp have the technology to transfer a detailed telephoned report over to a on patrol rcmp officer via radio within seconds. Sounds reasonable doesnt it.

It has nothing to do with what the fukc i know, hear from neighbors, assume or where I was.

I understand that this is a rare situation, and probably for most of the involved officers, uncharted territory but video evidence is really making it hard for the rcmp to lie and cover their asses anymore.
