Blackberry Browsers and Software/Apps.

I recently got into a blackberry after not having one for over 3 years, so a lot has changed. I have the Storm 2.

You BB users out there, which browser(s) are you using?

I have Bolt, Opera 5.0 (beta2), and the BB Native Browser.

I seem to prefer the Opera over the others so far, but can't figure out how to make it my default browser.

Any tips on how I could accomplish this?

any other cool apps or browsers out there that you could recommend?

I use the native one as I am too lazy to play with others. Opera is not able to be set as default yet. Only Bolt has that option. If you like tweaking your LED try BerryBuzz, i like it cuz when it is on silent you can still tell what kinda notification you have received. Another good one is theScore Mobile. I also have the GMAIL app.

Yeah, the gmail app and the Score mobile were the first two apps I grabbed.

I've had theScore Mobile hang on me several times so i don't use it much.
However i did update the phone software so it may work better now.

Yoda, did you update it using BBSAK or another desktop manager? Just curious as I know there are a lot of "leaked" updates (aka beta releases) out there...

tapatalk is in beta now for the Blackberry!

I have used it today a few times... much easier than trying to access TTP through the browsers (native or otherwise)

I've had some issues with the Beta 4, not including the slowness, but i have had problems posting from it and a few error messages.

Had tonnes of issues with Beta 4... in fact stopped using it altogether... have to DL the new one...

Definately better but not perfect yet. At least Version 6 is worth using though.
I too stopped using Beta 4 as it rarely worked for anything but reading posts.

I love Poynt. Great tool for searching for businesses, people, restaurants. Gives you closest one to your current location, directions and GPS if you want it to the place.
