BBC SPORT | Football | My Club | M | Man Utd | Who can replace Ronaldo?

He is the first one discussed in this feature.

A legend at Anfield but will be hired to make the tea at Old Trafford

If there was any doubt that he was a mercenary before......

Looking forward to the Kop's reception?

If they are going to take a chance, albeit at a bargain price, on Owen, why not RVN at a discount price?

RVN or Robben. Huntelaar is still out there as well.

Robben is a great replacement for Ronaldo, but very expensive and very injury prone as we all know. Huntelaar will be in the EPL soon and can be the next RVN, my guess he will be pricey as well. RVN can be bought at a bargain, do not forget what he did for that club in the past.

But a lot of this is about egos and control I guess. For example, Man U should never have let RVN go, and certainly Chelsea should never have let Mourinho, or Robben for that matter, go. Same could be said I guess for Ronaldo, but he is just too much of a poser. Lets see how he does now.

Not even close to being a Anfield legend. Good luck with our sloppy seconds.

Way to go Sir Alex! Like a true Scot, when your high maintenance way too expensive glamour girl leaves you for a sexy Spaniard, go to the old standy:

Pick up the wounded antelope.

Manchester United 2 Velencia 0

i thought this was a super entertaining game
owen impressed, even though he didn't fill the net, he had a few great chances
he showed his speed getting a couple of decent breakaway chances

Valencia...AMAZING!
his speed down the wing, his crosses into the box...top notch!!

looking forward to the community shield vs. chelsea
