| Premium Member A Better Bastard | Most of you could give a flying fcuk about the Rangers last game together. But I would like to take this time to say a very sad farewell to a great bunch of lads. This Sunday at 2PM will be our last big horah! The reason I bring this up is because unlike other teams we have been together for well over ten years. Yes some of the lads will go over 35'S, but our team is finally over. Say what you want about our team, but good or bad we were definately a true TEAM. Whether it be playing the Gorge in Victoria in the B C 'S and going on no sleep. Or going to the B C 'S three years in a row and not going down without a fight, this team is and was very special. This team also is a big part of TTP and gives a shit about the soccer community. Rangerforever,Stepchild,Downtown,Silverfox ,Judge,Whiteshoes, and Myselfe, are guys who will play in the Rangers Farewell Song! Cheers Boys, it's been a good ride!!!!!!!!!! The Coach. ![]() Last edited by Coach; 03-19-2004 at 09:12 PM. |

Now that she is a gin stained old cougar reeking of stale beer and piss, it is perhaps best that she is disbanded, her various parts sold for auction at Pancho and Leftys and the earth of Newton Athletic salted, so that nothing should ever grow there again. God bless her and all who sail in her. ![]() |

| Kick'n it old school... A Total Bastard | Let's be honest, the Rangers are not done. Their escapades will be told in locker rooms, parking lots and seedy liquor establishments for years to come. Some will grow bigger and completely out proportion with time, like RF's bum, others will be held dear and become fond memories for those lucky enough to have participated in them. Let's never mind the feelings of the players and management involved here. The ones that are going to be truly effected are the staff a BC Liquor branch #234. Going to be a few long and lonely Tuesday and Thursday nights... Hell our taxes may go up. NowwhereamIgoingtogetaGeeger?

All in all, looking forward to a nice sunny sunday! See you boys there. Coach |

Good luck with that. ps what will become of the infamous Surrey Rangers beer cooler? Might I suggest you put a hitch on it, park it a any of the numerous trailer parks near your training facililties and rent it out as a double wide dressing room to the PAU nation? | |

| Member | Good luck lads tomorrow! I will have to miss it as I have a game at the sametime. But something tells me that the after party might go on for a while so I am sure a little warmup for the golfing trip might be in order. I will miss those late friday nights in the changeroom at Newton. But serouisly congrats on a great run over the years and I can honestly say you guys did it in STYLE Quote:

| Member | Congrats Rangers. what a nice way to go out. Couldn't have been written any better. Well , maybe. On behalf of the Lions, it was a pleasure playing against you guys when we did. Our team looked up and respected you guys. Even though most of the time you took us to school. As young teens years ago, we learned a lot, like some of the drinking habbits we picked up as well. I think it all started with that first 7-0 schooling you put on us. And how one of our players was born when Killer graduated from N.D. Thanks for the games and the pints. It was always a match to look forward too. Anyways, cheers and thank you. |

| Member | I won't be able to get the Highlanders up for any games now. Ah piss. Over the years I enjoyed playing both for and against the Rangers. I pity the Master's teams. Maybe the cooler should be auctioned off on EBay. Congrats downtown, see you in Kamloops....I hope. JM |

| Member | Suitable ending to a storied side. Cnuts are probably still in the change room. Speaking of suitable endings, how 'bout Downtown? Heard through the grapevine ("NDSS Alumni Weekly) that Balsa was in the process of doing a "Reverse Nigerian" on his birth certificate. With all these spots opening up on the Rangers Masters squad, he feels that he finally has a crack at it. As if he doesn't look 45 yo. Good luck, pal. Buckfast |

| Member | It seems like the Rangers might have 2 more games to go. I recieved a phone call from the league last night that the Rangers are interested in playing in the 2 game playoff to make a push for premier once again and have until Tuesday night to confirm. |
