| Member | With DFC leaving, and with GEU being a totally different team, this division should be extremely competetive this year. Who will place in the top two? Rangers? We have picked up a few new guys that will definitely help. At the end of last year we started to gel in a big way and that showed in the Pak. We have a very good chance at a top two spot. Aldergrove? They probably should have won the division last year but had a crappy second half. Highlanders? No. Spoprting? No. Raiders? They are a tough team to play against and actually played in the playoff vs. SUFC two years ago for the chance at Premier. You never know what you are going to get from these guys. Maybe. GEU? Not likely this year. GN/SUFC. Meh. Those are the top teams I would give a chance. I might lump Port Moody in there, but that's it. I haven't seen either of the promoted teams so I can't justify adding them. What are your thoughts? Last edited by TheRob; 08-23-2005 at 11:42 AM. |

Both of them being defenders it will hurt us. We have made a few solid pickups and it depends on how we gel. If we get a few other pickups which are long shots we should be able to compete in the top half being a legitimite threat. However I don't see that happening so mid pack is probably a better guess.

...wow, first season in Div. 1 and I'm already being talked about... Okay, enough silliness...I think Aldergrove will be in the promotion spot at season's end, if they're just a bit more solid down the stretch this campaign. I think the learned that from last season, though the Rangers should be nipping at their heels all season long. ~Shaven
