(it could have been worse,,one of the guys is from Palarmo Italy) oh for you who dont know they have pink jerseys. I mean real pink,,not salmon. lol Good Luck all this season. |

Get the GEU rejects outta your head. Of a squad of 20 guys, 3 are from last years GEU side. 17 of the players are from Poco. Most of the team that was going to move to Poco went back to GEU. The Wanderers team are poco guys, started by a few guys formerly from ridge. And yeah, its hard to get anyone to play us for exhibition. When we were all fit, injury free and so forth, we couldnt find a single team to play us. Only a few of our starting line up went to tonights game, it ended up a game between a mix of Prem, U-21's, Div 1's and Wanderers. Tonight was yet another disappointment, but at the same time we have 4 guys down with injury, another broke his nose tonight and 3 others who were at weddings and funerals....i think we could have a wanderers reality show.....we could raise some serious coin! Interesting because there appears to be a good group of players there, surprising some times where players end up. I'd say they will have no trouble in D2, though have not seen their keeper yet... | |
