Div 2C - Who'll be on top?

Here's a question... Who's going to be on top of the table at the end of season? Who's going to win the cup?

I'm gunning for arsenal in this one...

Celtics will win Div. 2C by 5 or 6 points. Arsenal will get eliminated by the Poco Royals in the first round of the cup. Coachmen to win the cup.

After playing both Celtic and Arsenal, I don't think that there is any doubt that Arsenal is the better team. And as for the cup JTL, we will certainly be trying to extend our Dewdney elimination streak to two.

How can a 1st place team like the Celtic win the division by 5-6 points if they tied ACBC 3-3? Coquitlam handidly dominated them 8-0... Poco Royals... hmmm long shot, I think so, but best of luck anyways!

There alot better team then when u played them the first time. Im sure u can still beat em but doubt you will beat them by more then 2 or 3.

Yes how could a team that hasn't touched a ball in a month tie ACBC?
An even bigger question is how could they not beat the Nationals in 2 tries?

I agree... the reason why Dewdney does so well is that they play together. ACBC, (and i'm not trying to *knock them) but, ACBC are quite a bit younger and are still developing the sense of playing together as a team. They do have a high amount of skilled players, as the shown in their 3-3 draw, but I guess what it really comes down to is the CUP play. Hopefully the teams that haven't been able to play in the last 5 weeks get to catch up really soon. Cheers.

We had Celtic beat. Should of been there 1st lost. Maybe if J.B. would pull his head out of his ass, keep up with the play and get his glasses fixed. We would of had them. GREAT REFEREEING!! NOT!! How does a goalie get away with coming out of his box(last man back) grabing one of our players, preventing him from a scoring chance and not be sent off or even a yellow card????????? He gave us a yellow 4 kicking the ball away??? That's F'D up!! Know wonder ur not president anymore. LOL!!!!

J14 we agree you should of beat us we said that but I would look at more than just the ref. for the reason you didn't. There are a lot of skilled players on your team but they need to grow up a bit. Stop posing, don't pull your jerseys over your head after you score and learn to play as a team with a goal of winning instead of trying to look flashy. I think your team will one day make a good addition to div. 1 maybe even higher with some changes but if you don't cut the stupid shit out players will start taking runs at some of your guys especially #9. Good player but too c0ckey for his own good and he can help you guys out a lot more if he would work on the team game more and the cute little moves that won't work in the higher divisions less.

How is everyone loving the snow and NOT being able to play their make-up games and/or would be games this weekend... I know we sure as heck need the games... You all are gaining on us with the amount you've played! You're almost into the 'teens.... Good ol' Coquitlam and their shotty fields. We have Charles Best and another field sorta in poco, but who both are a disappointment when it snows anywhere!

I may be branded 'captain obvious' for saying so, but I don't think the Celtic or Arsenal can claim superiority until they play eachother. Clearly there record against eachother will be the determining factor in who get's promoted. And despite what people are saying on this thread, I don't think the results against other teams are really relavent.

That said, Celtic have two more draws against lesser teams which may come back to haunt them after all is said and done.

Smart money is on Arsenal for that reason only.

Can the Celtic really expect to win if they don't practice or train in any way. I would think that will be their undoing.

Prediction: Arsenal take 4 of six points head to head in two fairly close games.
