| Sad Bastard A Better Bastard | From FVSL Website:Division 2 Divisional Winners of 2A, 2B & 2C are Promoted to Division 1 Bottom 2 in each Division Relegated to Division 3 Division 3 Top 2 teams in Division's 3A, 3B and 3C Promoted to Division 2 Standings 3A Division 3A # Team GP W T L GF GA PTS 1 LUFC Rangers 16 12 2 2 41 21 38 2 LUFC Nomads 14 12 1 1 58 20 37 3 Guildford Utd 15 7 4 4 37 25 25 Standings 3B Division 3B # Team GP W T L GF GA PTS 1 Athletic Club BC 14 12 2 0 54 10 38 2 LUFC Athletica 15 10 2 3 41 20 32 3 LUFC Young Guns 15 7 6 2 30 13 27 4 SFC Pegasus Rangers 15 7 4 4 52 21 25 5 Surrey Heat 15 7 2 6 28 33 23 Standings 3C Division 3C # Team GP W T L GF GA PTS 1 Stolo Utd 11 9 2 0 36 15 29 2 Players Utd 10 7 1 2 31 17 22 3 Chehalis Chiefs 9 7 0 2 23 12 21 4 Abbotsford Utd. SC 13 6 1 6 29 29 19 From the league constitution: "The team having the highest number of points in each of the divisions of the League shall be declared the winner in the respective division. In the event of a tie in points, the position of the teams will be determined in the following order: (i) record against the other team or teams; or, if still tied (ii) goals for and against versus the other team or teams; or, if still tied (iii) a playoff between the team or teams." Therefore It stands to reason that in 3A your already clinched Promotion teams are the LUFC Nomads and LUFC Rangers (It is now just a jousting match to see who comes first) in 3B ACBC has clinched promotion as the third place team cannot do better than them If the Athletica win twice the Young Guns will have to win all 3 to tie them...it is a track meet between the Young Guns, Athletica, Peg Rangers and Heat to see the final promotion candidate. In 3C- Who cares? It is near impossible to get to 18 games played...this division has been a shambles with a team folding and all of the cancellations... | Sad Bastard A Better Bastard | I for one am glad that we have clinched promotion. Our best player is done for the year with broken ribs since Colin of the Clones slammed into him on a red card and has not only knocked us out the cup but also removed Carniehore from playing the final 4 games.Another of our 4 strikers is done with a broken foot playing up for the LUFC Wolves, so now we are down to having two pure strikers left in the stable. and we are a beat up bunch right now...the season has definately taken a toll on the Nomads, I hope we can come out real strong against the Phoenix in our last scheduled game and put a thumping on the ND Hawks, Guildford Coaches, and have a great game against Antileno and his Rangers in our 3 make ups to be completed. |

| Sad Bastard A Better Bastard | We are no longer in the cup...we should be able to make up our game next Saturday night against the Rangrs unless their cup draw is played the same weekend...we have games against two others in the Guildford FC and ND Hawks teams that are outstanding as well, and they are no longer in cup play either. They are the home team..does the league force them to play those? What is the deal? |

You should be so lucky to get out of Whalley and play in Poco and Maple Ridge.
