Talking

Looks like the Rangers perfect season is no more after a tie in the first game. Will the reigning div1 champs keep the title???

Default pocovs rangers

With neither team having their full squads and the rangers up 3-1
from a pk, it should had been game over. I think the rangers thougt they had the 3 points and let up a bit. It was still a gutsy comeback. Well done boys...

We shit the bed.

I think Sporting had a few good chances and scored on both. They out hustled us in the start of the game and scored a quick one. Then one from a PK before half. We were definitely better in the second half and pushed them hard. Sporting goalie played a brilliant game coming up with a few huge saves.

Not a great game to watch as they were all kick and run to their quick forward and we were unable to get any rythm at all. I can't say they were better but they won and that is all that counts.

Typical start for us Highlanders. Time for us to wake up and realize the season has begun.

Hopefully there were a few other upsets to get things started.

Remember, only match reports and scores in this thread. No banter. Yes, your favorite Nazi moderator is back.

Have a nice day.

Thumbs down Stepchild - see TheRob's post

TheRob posted the Storm's 4-1 victory over LUFC (ie. his team) in the subject line. Maybe you should have your current orphanage leader read all of the postings including the subject to you at bedtime right before they take the baseball bat to your skull.......or maybe theRob could indicate his team's loss next week in the body of his post instead of whining about the banter that the other teams enjoy that actually get points from the weekend

Hugs and kisses to both of you xoxoxoxo

Default we're back

Rangers 2 - Storm 0

Just in case you guys thought that we would go away, think again.

This was a big game, and we came out and delivered!

We have a big rivalry with these lads, and let's just say there was no love lost during the game.(Sorry boys, but kicking our ass in summer league, has nothing to do with the winter!)

Question STORM. When have you ever beat the Rangers in a regular fraser valley game.

Answer. 0 a big fat 0

Take your big wins in the summer league and be happy!

SURREY FC RANGERS 2 WHALLEY STORM 0

p. s. (I hear a storm is a brewing!)
(whatever)

Sedgy , Pasqua , Marshall , Doc , and Knights, Brilliant lads,brilliant!

Default ranger/storm match

Brutal game from the storm boys, but credit goes to the rangers for capitalzing on there two chances. Tight match with few chances either ways. The storm took it to them off the bat but didn't finish when we had the chance.

Rangers were definately excited about the win, but in all there drunken, partying and talks of finally defeating the storm for the first time in countless games they forgot one thing. We were in seperate leagues last year??? Of course we haven't beat u in winter league, WE NEVER PLAYED U!!! I think Ranger should sober up before posting as his emotions are getting the best of him. I never seen one post from the storm bragging about wining the summer league (just another win) but it OBVIOUSLY a big deal to the rangers as we can all see (as much as they say it wasn't). They even had a better team in the summer (all there premier hopes and dreams). We'll take the summer trophy over this match though boys.......long season ahead.....we'll meat again and won't be short three starters next time...

No execuses though as I give u guys credit for capitalizing on your two chances.

PoCo Raiders 4 DMU Highlanders 0

It was 0-0 half way through the 2nd half when PoCo scored and the flood gates opened.

Tough watching from the sidelines.

The day I sober up is the day I die.
Although maybe someone else should sober up before they post and re-read who made the original post.
Also, someone may want to sober up before they come to the pitch because you must have been on the piss to interpret the game the way you have.

Two fcuking chances?
My fcuking God.
Did you even touch the ball in the second half?
It was the Dougie Sedgewick show on our right hand side like forever I felt.
He fcuking dominated your left side all day long.
And could you enlighten me on your abundance of wasted chances?
Nice try on the spin, but unlucky.

I can see you being bitter about Coach's comments, but two things:

1.) The summer league comments: Look, we hear about your lot wanking off about the summer league all the fcuking time. OK? Don't even begin to deny it as it was the first thing that came out of your fcuking mouths when the whistle blew. Again, nice spin, but the grapevine doesn't lie time after time after time again. We've be hearing about it for years mate.
Maybe not directly on here, but nonetheless.

2.) The starter bit: No excuses? Sounds like it to me mate. And BTW you were missing Mario, a great player, yes. What difference would it have really made? Because I'll tell you why, your back 3 were phenomenal. Missing starters is part of taking the league man. Your bench is what does it for you, not your starters. Oh, and BTW, we were missing Mike Roberts and Ian McLean. Ever heard of them?

The bottom line is we fully deserved our marginal victory in all aspects of the game.
The better side won and you fcuking know it.

Yes, next time: Blah, blah, blah.
Like we don't already know you'll be just as fired up as you were yesterday.
See the reason is we respect you, something I wish I could say went both ways.
Going both ways, Aaaaaarrrrrggggghhhh...
Ooops, my mud hole's twitching again....

The league will be really tight now as a result and this win was huge for us as I do feel your side are the team to beat from what I've seen.
No disrespect to the Razorbacks, Raiders, PoCo City, Highlanders, etc. but these guys are going to take a lot of points off teams this year.

We'll take it and on to Sporting this week.

RF

striker12: Rangers 2-0 over Storm. Note, this will also be the match-up record at the end of the season!

Good, Just means you will have to find new excuses.

Rangers were definately excited about the win
This is the difference b/t a championship team and a summer league champion. When it counts, the Rangers come ready to play.

All in all, an even first half but Rangers all the way when it counted.

Ranger, Stepchild, Striker and all others,

This thread is for RESULTS AND MATCH REPORTS ONLY. All other banter belongs in the other thread. All posts that don't contain a score or a match report will be deleted from here on out. This is the same reason this thread was shut down last year.

It isn't that hard people.

TR,

Not to knock the moderating you are doing but a link to where they are supposed to banter would be great when performing your nazi duties
