| Member | With the winter break upon us and nothing but Turkey and bevies, which team(s) will benifit from the time off to get healthy and fit and which team(s) will do fcuk all and pick up injuries in the New Year??? My guess, the break will help the Langley's, GEU's and PAU's of the FVSL Premier Division... Langley will undoubtably go twice a week with only a handful of vets indulging in a few pints... Mind you, Fenian will have enough for the whole squad!!! GEU do have a coach this year and some depth, (for a change) they should improve with a few of the injuried coming back to battle in the midfield... PAU could go either way, but I believe we will be stronger a more consistant in the New Year... We have (IMO) the best schedule from which to produce from and the only thing that will hold us back is ourselves!!! The break will kill Lions, Dewdney and Chilliwack... The Lions cannot get any better in the standings and now have other teams out for them... Their inexperience in this position may really heurt their chances of a top 3 finish??? Look for them to grind out matches without much results to show for it... Dewdney as a new comer to the Div. will get fat and out of shape IMO/... They are not used to playing a big game week in and out and their time off will absolutely murder them... Chilli have nothing to gain out of the remaining schedule... If they do not battle in practice and keep in top form they could bow out early in the PAK and struggle to prepare for the BC's... They may just be their own worst enemy??? |

No predictions until you take the time to list who is playing who in the last 4-5 games for the contender's. Langley has GEU, DMU, Wack, Dewds and Whalley. | |

| Member | I'll bite... Expect Langley and Chili to earn Provincial birth through league play. I also expect PAU will get to the Provincials, one way or another. That leaves the two Deltas, and I expect the Lions to be the more competitive of the two as the league winds down. Only question is if they can stay ahead of PAU. PAU, although behind in points, are a good bet to make it up, based on schedule. Provincial spots: Chili Langley Lions PAU Relegation: GN will be relegated, I think this is a lock. Way too much rain in the forecast. In terms of the other potential spot, I see Whaley having more pluck, but may not have the horses. The core group is dedicated, but they are without Mario (transferred, along with the big brown guy they had back there), Wagstaff (injured, season ending probably), and a couple of others. Good result this weekend, finally scoring a couple. Looks like they get GN twice over the final few weeks, and they do have an actual Cat team they can draw from. Essentially, the season for both teams comes down to the 6 points available in those last two matches. So, knowing this, I predict: GN- relegated DFC- in promotion / relegation playoff.

| Premium Member A Better Bastard | I don't see the Mighty Rangers there in your list of teams of to Provincials, we have a great Pac draw and the Rangers are allways tough come Cup time. Big match vs. GN the first weekend of Feb. with lots of rain in the forecast. hos |

| Member | The Rangers will take a bite out of the Samosa Challenge, but eat their way out of contention come round 2. Trust me, I saw their goalie at Kelly's last month....not a pretty sight. Looking pretty old, creaky, and the poor bastard can barely handle his booze.

| Member | Star #1's right. The score is correct on your link Guinness, but go into the standings section. PAU was awarded 1 point, and so was Poco. The score shows as 1-1. Poco should be tied in the cellar with us @ 7 points, and PAU should be tied with the Lions, thanks to Dewdney. |
