Coq. City vs Westcoast - Coq.
Surrey Coyotes vs Royals/Arsenal - Arsenal to win both
Magpies vs Mission - Magpies
Surrey Heat vs Langley Chaos - no clue lets go with Heat
Poco City/Punjabi vs Bradner - Poco City for both
North Delta Titans vs Surrey Dec. - ND always have good cup run
Poco Athletic vs Coachmen - Coachmen tough to beat
Pegasus vs Krank'd - Pegasus
Sikh vs GEU Tigers - Tigers

Delta Metro vs Surrey - DMU

Any thoughts. Some very good teams still left in the cup.

Poco is ****ed vs the Coachmen. If we had all our players I think it would at least be a decent game. But we have lost our goalie, two of our guys had babies(both premature), one guy sitting for cards, 4 legitimate injuries, plus our ex-canadian national player CC can't make the game.

We're ****ed

I'm wondering if there's some info out there on the Surrey Coyotes (2C), as I haven't a clue what to expect from them this coming weekend except what I can glean from their results thus far. Anyone from 2C that can fill me in a little on what they're all about?

CB,

You shouldn't make excuses until after the game. With the late game time change we are missing four starters as well including our starting keeper. 2 very depleted teams - could go either way.

GB, I'd like to think we can pull off the upset against PoMo too, but only if they have as much holiday rust as we do.

Surrey Div2c we played them and I have no info for you, It was the wettest game ever so both teams just kicked and ran,,we kicked and ran a little farther and harder.
This weekend is heating up and I cant wait to see which good teams are upset. Thats the fun of cup play for me.

Coyotes are a nice bunch of guys. I'd be surprised if any of them have ever played at a higher level. Against us thier best player was thier goalie, he was a big lug but he could move really well.

We had 2 sessions this week as we have what looks on paper as a good D2 side, they demolished ACBC at the start of the year and played some pretty close games. Looking forward to seeing how we'll stack up for next year. I still predict a win for us though

Aldergrove vs ACBC should be the best game this weekend

I don't know about stakeup with the best, but the Lions are one of the best on turf.....if it was on grass I would say it would be close but I see the Lions holding strong and simply outworking you with the kick and run.

3-1 Lions

Since we've played D3 all year, we've been defending is kick and run all year, plus there's no way their forwards are faster than our d, fastest I've ever played with, but it's definitely going to be a tough game for us, no question. Can't wait.

Good job Coachmen, and good luck. While I understand both teams were missing key players Poco just didn't have the depth to make it interesting. Excuse me while I go back to the toilet(I got food poisoning on Thursday, I think I'm gonna die)

PoMo Lions 1 - Whalley 0 (Shootout)

Not a good night to put up our worst game of the year. Touch was horrible and we couldn't put anything together offensively. 1 chance for either team, ref was horribly one-sided, although it wouldn't have changed anything. We could have played 2 games and not had a goal either side. Heritage Woods easily the worst turf I've played on, very hard and unforgiving. Hate to lose in PK's, good luck to the Lions the rest of the way. Go Abby and Krank'd!

The rust was very evident last night.Chaos 2-1 over Heat.We just didn't have it in us except maybe the last 10 mins when we were trying to tie it up.Real scrappy game. They are very young but definitely not really organized.I don't see them causing too many problems for a decent div2 team next round.

SUFC 1 - 0 Tigers

In a shootout. They probably should have won the game in regulation, but they can't shoot to save their lives. Most of them were right at me or over the bar/wide. The one they hit on net, hit the crossbar.

We hit the crossbar in the first five minutes and they cleared one off the line in the last five of the game.

Not a bad game on a COLD night at Newton. Martin did a great job in the middle.
