Knights Cup Semi Finals Predictions

Coachmen over N. Coquitlam. I don't think this will be much of a contest.

ACBC vs Arsenal. This is a very good matchup and could go either way. There will be a preview of this game this weekend in the form of a make up game. I'll take ACBC in penals.

No penals, Coq should be able to outright win'em. Both of them. Should be a long next 2 weekends though! Coach's should be able to beat N.Coq handidly. Although you never know...

I agree, I think Arsenal will beat ACBC but you never know. On any given Sunday.

I have never seen N. Coquitlam play so I am not sure if we will beat them. I am not sure if we really deserved to win vs Port Moody Lions either.

I predict a Coachmen, Arsenal final. We'll be in tough that day. I don't think we can run with the young guns and hopefully we get some lucky breaks if we make it that far.

Both teams ready to play and the ref calls the game due to standing water on the field,,I guess we will have to wait till Sunday,,this game will probably count for cup and league play as well, as we have no time left for make up games and Arsenal needs this make up game to clinch the division. But you have to go through us to get there. Cant wait its going to be a hell of a barn burner,,I know both teams are super stoked to get it on,,and after they spanked us 8-0 at the start of the season, we are so wanting to prove ourselves better than that.

I know i asked this before but i misplaced the paper I wrote it on so can someone please tell me where Tom Binnie Turf is again Please.

Well, let's just say for starters that of 2 undefeated teams this weekend, neither of them looked their best and one of them is no longer undefeated.

Arsenal 1 - ACBC 2
Arsenal looked average tonight, not the fast ball controlling team that has been dominating all season. ACBC gave them no time to play (even the couple of "new signings", wherever they came from) ACBC, if they had any finish could have had this game sealed at 3-4 nil but scrambled a bit when Arsenal decided to play tough but then potted the second to ease up the pressure.

Coachmen 2 - N Coquitlam 1
Coachmen had a good first half but where lucky to not be tied or trailing in the first half as N Coq. put one off the underside of the crossbar but not over the line. I think Coachmen carried alot of the play although NC had a few chances. NC tied it up with a low hard shot in the corner mid second half.
Then a hard challenge that was a little embellished got a Dewdney player a red, which really should have been a yellow only, but the NC player sold it with a triple lundy dive, which we are lucky to see a coule more times in the game.

It was all for not though as the coachmen got a PK off a corner foul in the box. Keeper made a great save on the first save, and on the second, and while the rest of the NC team watched, they potted the winner.

Finals will be ACBC vs Coachmen.
As handly as the Coachmen took their division this year, if they play like they did in the finals and ACBC plays the way they did, ACBC will end a second undefeated streak for the season.

I call PK's to be won by Coachmen.

That will be the 3rd team we knocked off thier undefeated streak,,Aldergrove was 12 or 13 and 0 when we knocked them out of the Cup,,they are and were first in their division aswell.
Right now we feel like Giant killers. We all stayed behind to watch the Dewdney game vs N Coq. ,,,Definitley Div. 2 C is a far tougher division this year. Even the weaker teams in our division did well in the cup vs other teams. Dewdney will be a great game and I am hopeing we can stay disaplined against them as their full contact soccer does rattle most teams. I do know some of thier players were missing today and they did seem a little flat but I do think it was because N Coq didnt back down and stood up to that stile of soccer. Their was an obvious elbow from the Dewdney keeper to the back of the neck of one of the NCoq players that should have been a card and pk but other than that bad miscall the game was very close. NCoq also hit the post 5 min into the game,and they too were missing one of thier top players up front. It was a great game to watch and I am glad we all stayed to check out Dewdney...Cant wait for the final..I have a few more tricks to pull out of my mittins.

As for our game,,I first of all want to say that Arsenal is a first class team and thier Coach is a first class guy,Thier defence is very strong and they do move the ball well. I am so glad we got to play this Cup game and makeup game at the same time cause now we can say we beat them twice today..lol We are friends with alot of the guys on that team and when they beat us 8-0 this year,,they never let us forget it everytime we would go out and run into them anywhere.....So revenge at this time is very very sweet. We have no new guys,,,we just have a commitment issue with these same guys....Cup games they show up,,,rainy games forget it,,,,ya posers,,,So im glad it wasnt raining today. The young guys on our team are learning what to do and what not to do as the season has worn on and they have grown 1 year older. We are peeking at the right time,during the Cup run ,I only wish we could have had a few games back .So we could be running for promotion.
We want this cup bad so we can go to the B Provincials, I was told 4 teams from the FVSL get to go. The 3 division winners and the cup winner,,I was also told that if the Cup winner is a division winner the league picks the 4th team, a team they feel will represent the league well. We want that spot. We feel we have earned it. By beating so far 2 teams going to the Provincials and playing the 3rd in the Cup finals,,Needless to say we want to win the Cup first and for that reason,,the Provincials.
What a great day for ACBC,,going to hit the girlfriends a few times now in celebration,,They love it when we win.
Im going to be screamin Bartou ,Bartou how does it feel in your A&&.......LOL
Cant wait ,,only 14 more sleeps,,,,
