| Member | Let's see which league is better: VMSL Pros: Better Soccer Cons: None FVSL Pros: Don't have to be fit, as every team just humps the ball 90 yards every chance they get. Cons: You have to smell horse crap all game long, and go to Pubs after the game with guys who are still wearing their shin pads and socks. ![]() |

| Member | vmsl is definitly better soccer. I have to say though I have watched many a VMSL game and at the end of the day it all just looks like canadian soccer. No style, no flair, pretty much muck it soccer with better finishing and a little higher skill level. I've never come away from a game thinking wow these guys are a different class.

As Bull said a little higher skill level and to be honest the VMSL has a bigger pool of players to choose from so shouldn't it be that way. I think from big dip's rants lately he must have been cut from a FVSL team somewhere along the line, it's the only way to understand his anger.

| Member | You can't tell the difference between the leagues? Is that why it has been YEARS since a FVSL Premier team beat a VMSL team in the provincials? Honestly, I think they should take away a spot in the Provincials and give it to either the VISL or the VMSL. It would improve the quality of play in the Provincials. |

there is no doubt in my mind now...you were cut by a FVSL div 2 side, dumped by a surrey girl and lost your best friend when he moved to Langley. It's ok big dip...you now call East Van home.

| Member | Yeah, the VISL. The VISl Premier division is a very good league. Ask anyone around.. Redwoods is the guy who goes to the pub after the game wearing his shin pads and socks. I guess I offended him... Funny that Redwoods lives in Burnaby but plays in the FVSL master league....looks like someone wasn't good enough to play in the VMSL masters league!!!! |

| Member | Take the Valley residents out of the Vancouver League and there will be a big change in both the VMSL & FVSL. Not that would/could ever happen. Many of the top players from the past and present in the VMSL reside and or grew up in the Valley. The whole argument is stupid as are the Dip's comments most of the time. Fun to read though ![]() PS- Valley Teams have won the Masters Provincials in the past few seasons. Surrey United & Surrey FireRangers |

ohhhhhh so close... but not quite accurate I've seen you pull out the whole shin pad and socks going to a bar thing a few times now. If that is the best you have then I am going to just stop. I will have you know I always take my socks off!! ![]() I'm glad you have added some fun to the forums, you must have time to spare with your 20 min a game to come up some of the classic ttp you bring.

| Member | Dipper I have to say you are a great TTPer. You can twist everything around to your point of view and ignore comments showing your inaccuracies. That's what the site is about. ![]() You did list a few Valley guys which is nice. That is why I said past and present and it was just a general comment. I don't have a list of birth certificates of all BC players like you so I can't produce my own list for you. ![]() Good to see a few of the boy's I know still on your list. Is it bad when I wear plastic bags over my socks and inside my boots? This forum and arguement will continue until the end of time. ![]() |

The only thing I notice is all the fukcing gel in everybodies hair in the vmsl. Honestly its pathetic. I know greasy Italins don't know any better but for fukc sakes who are you getting pretty for. We are already wearing shorts and High socks the gel just makes things uncomfortable out there. Your right I do notice something different.

| Member | Why is it that every thread on this site eventually turns into a Sikh Temple/Indo argument? ![]() By the way, at first glance when I looked at the Big Dipper's "Best Player List," I was a little miffed that it didn't include any Sapp players, then I realized it was last year's all-star team ....Oh well, eventually one of our 13 centre backs will get noticed. |
