Looks like the FVSL got their stuff together, and it looks like March 29 will be a great day of footy.

PRESENTS THE FALL 2007 AND 2008 SEASON
FRASER VALLEY SOCCER LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIPS

Saturday March 29, 2008

At
South Surrey Athletic Park

20TH AVENUE AT 148TH STREET IN SOUTH SURREY
REFRESHMENTS AND BARBEQUE ON SITE

Schedule of Events:

11:00 AM Field # 8 Under 21 Cup Final
1:00 PM Field # 8 Knights Cup Final
1:00 PM Field # 7 Masters Cup Final
2:30 PM Skills contest
3:00 PM Field # 7 Pakenham Cup Final
5:00 PM Field # 7 AWARDS CEREMONY

Also taking place on Saturday March 29th, 2008 at the South Surrey Athletic Park
are a FVSL 16 team 7-aside soccer tournament and 4 relegation/promotion games.

Pretty cool that they're managing to have the relegation and promotion games at the same park as well.

I see that the league has posted All the Cup Finals for Sat Mar 29th.

11 am - Under 21 Final

1 pm - Knights Cup Final

1 pm - Masters Cup Final

2:30 pm - SKILLS CONTEST????? (What the hell is this...An NHL like stars competition?)

3 pm- Pak Cup Final

5 pm - Awards Ceremony.

What the hell is the Skills Contest all about.......Please do tell?

Correct me if I'm wrong,but I think the skills contest is for the kids team playing out of South Surrey and being part of the overall event.

Anyone from PAU know what the back up plan is going to be if the snow continues out here, it's sticking. Are they just going to go ahead and muck up the fields?

The snow isn't going to last and tomorrow is supposed to be nice in the afternoon.
The turf is also available as back up.
