FVSL Cup Draws and Christmas Party 2009

Hey all,

As some of you may have seen on the Valley website the FVSL has decided against doing the Presidents and Pakenham Cup draws in Whistleblowers kitchen for this year and have decided on doing it publicly and incorporating a League Party.

It will be held at Shanks Sports Grill at the Starlight Casio on 350 Gifford in New West (Queensborough area) on December 15th.

Starts at 6:30pm and there will be an area of the bar set aside for those that want to attend.

The Valley Executive and ACBC's Ghouse have put quite a bit of work into this to make it a great first annual event.

I'm sure we will have some TTP'ers doing live updates here in this thread from the Iphones and Blackberry that evening for those that can't make it out.

Tuesday December 15th @ 6.30pm will be our 1st Annual Cup Draw & Christmas Party Event. This will be held at
SHANKS SPORTS GRILL 350 Gifford Street, New Westminster

The DRAW for the 1st Rounds of the Pakenham Cup & President's Cup will start @ 7pm. Complimentary Snacks will be on hand as the DRAW is completed. We have secured a separate area in the Bar for our members to enjoy a fun night as they view the DRAW and enjoy a small dose of Christmas spirit! This is an OPEN event and there is no need to order tickets. Hope to see you all there!

BTW, there is an Iphone app called tapatalk in the apple store that TTP is signed up for - much easier to post/read with than through the safari Iphone browser...

I am surprizingly happy right now... I really hope alot of you can come.
As far as I know we will do the Masters and U-21 draws too.
Wont take to long because we have gone all out and picked up an electric Bingo ball machine. Every team will have a dedicated numbered ball and when the machine blows your ball up the slot...its final.
As told above we will have some Wings and things put out for those who come down early enough. We are prepairing snacks for 100 and its open to everyone (in our private room). So bring whoever you want. It would really be nice to see someone from every team.
If you havent ever been to Schanks before your in for a treat as its the largest and coolest sports bar I have ever been in. It holds 1000 people and has Indoor mini golf,Virtual golf, lots of pool tables,Sega Super GT Auto Racing, and over 100 Large HD TVs. Plus the all important Casino is attatched .
Schanks has given Us the Theater room for our event and it has the famous giant screen TV in it(and its big).
The only problem we had putting this together was we really wanted it on the Weekend, But because Weekends do so well at all the locations we looked at, non were available and others were booked almost a year ahead because of other Xmas functions.
So sorry its a Tuesday. I hope still being a Tuesday you all can still squeeze in a few hours to hang out and watch the draw.
I am hopeing that if we get a good turnout we can expand this event the following year and add to the fun things we have planned for you.
And yes I am planning on haveing some eye Candies to help with the blowing of the balls.

done but i can't drive us, its against icbc restrictions to drive more than one person who isn't immediate family and seen as i have 4 appending court dates for driving contrary to restriction, and i'm on probation i will drive out to Langley or wherever and someone else can drive .
