No RVN, Robben, Van Persie, Engelaar, Seedorf, Kuyt, etc today.

The Oranje got one early in a hostile away environment and then pretty well cruised I thought after that. That Croatian

"Eduardo" looked dangerous at times. Van der Vaart dominated the middle of the park, he will be huge in Austria, but he will be long gone out of Hamburg before long. Van der Sar had a strong game, and our side held the ball for long periods of time, which as you know makes them comfortable. The Hunter is emerging as another in a series of brilliant Dutch (Ok I won't say Ajax

) strikers in my opinion. He will be with a big English/Spanish club within a year. Melchiot started, so that tells you a bit about the side that Van Bastien put out today. But they did play a type of game in my opinion that might cause the "group of death" to seriously sit up and take notice. They had no trouble today. Really tough in the back.
