BJB, Bronco...

Is Croatia that strong these days or do you see somewhat of a blow-out for Brazil in this upcoming friendly?

That is one strong squad for Brazil! I think Willhill has them at 5-1 to win the World Cup next year... might be worth putting a few bucks on

I don't see a blowout, for sure, but Croatia will do well to get any kind of result. They're playing in front of probably the most rabid fans in Croatia. BJB is one of them!!!

True That Bronco!!! Should be a cracker... I see a lot of fist fights, and name calling pregame, now during the game....

It will be a tight match. Nice to see Brazil bring the whole squad minus ronaldinhiiojiooioioo who is injured. No wonder tickets are going for in the price range of $50 to $150. I see a 1:1 draw here. There's no way Brazil will win in Split, Actually there's no way Croatia will win there either.. There for i like the 1:1 draw. I believe Croatia is winless in the most beautiful stadium in the world "Poljud". Hopefully the Brazillians take advantage of teh beautiful beaches around Split, and some get lost driving to the stadium!!

KNVB work on a bookie even for this one!! oh and one on the croat summer tourney as well.... thanks.

Croatia 1 Brazil 1 (1:1)

Croatia took the lead of a Dida error. Olic forced Dida to give up the ball. Olic then took a shot of a wide angle only to hit the goal post.... Thankfully it was a nice rebound that ended up on young Niko Kranjcar's foot and in. 10 min later Brazil scored a beauty of a free kick... 20 yards out.... Ricardinho nailed a unreal shot over the croat wall, off the cross bar and in.... a perfect goal. Many other chances were had, both teams made subs in the 2nd as this is a friendly and players needed to get some minutes.

Player of the game for the Croats, actually i saw 2 of them. Olic up front who ran his ass off and was able to get teh helper on the 1st goal... and Srna who gave roberto carlos a lot of trouble.

Not sold out, as ticket prices were more that what most people make in a month in cro. They got the tourists, and it looked to be a fun time... wish i was there. Maybe next time....

Croatia is now off until qualifying in september.
