Where will the biggest free agent go this summer??

Sundin has been on fire all year long and going into the summer will be the biggest free agent on the market......were will end up??

He was also the first star this week...NHL.com - News

The "biggest" free agents will sign where they are imho...
Sakic in Colorado, Sundin in TO, etc...

Where Hossa will land will be interesting though...He may be Minnesota's only hope of retaining Gaborik once he is a UFA at the end of next year.

It might be tough for Minny to sign him as Hossa wants 9 million....and Gaborik will want at least 7 million a year or more

I don't know if Hossa will get that much though, teams may be reluctant based on the point productions of huge signings this year (Briere, Drury, etc). I'd like him, but not even at $7M.

I agree but Rangers and Philly always overpay guys that as soon as they put on the uni there talent drops and they become over paid average players.

Like JBN says, Demitra will most likely be gone if they try for Hossa, you need players with loyalty and that will take a home team discount in order to build something, which makes it hard to predict where anyone will go. That's why Sundin won't play for anyone else. Or he screwed TO by not waiving his clause and then sign somewhere else leaving TO with nothing. That would be funny.

Its funny how everyone slags a guy when he demands a trade but when Sundin is a stand-up guy admits that he dosen't want to be a rental player and if he got traded he would leave to go back to TO next year.....I think the only way Sundin leaves Toronto is that they low-ball him on a contract and he is forced to leave. Sundin doesn't want to leave Toronto and with all the draft picks they have got coming, this team could be very good next year.
