| Sad Bastard A Better Bastard | NHL News | National Post Although it was a brutal attack, nowhere near the scale of the Bertuzzi/Moore incident, I still think the Cops need to stay away from charging athletes for on field attacks unless they are truly heinous (Stick Swinging, skate incidents etc) |

| Member | I agree that this may create a slippery slope, but at the end of the day, people need to be responsible for their actions and cannot hide behind the "it's part of the game" argument. I've never agreed in the "win at all costs even if it means using your stick to break your opponent's ankle" mentality that fans seem to support and coaches often preach. At the end of the day, it's only a sport, and all sport is, is a form of entertainment. And that person whose ankle you broke or face you mashed into the ice is a human being. Dude, I know you agree with me on this one. ![]()

Bertuzzi would have been done, if Hockey pople did their job. But most of all coach who sent him out to do that should have been out right trown out of hockey. Bertuzzi did what he was asked. Totaly stupid move on his part. Hockey is a rough sport with big bucks. It is going to get worse before it gets better. It will take three four more years for improvment. As they get faster players goones will have no jobs. "Cheers" |
