Monday? $100 says Pratt goes on and on how Bertuzzi looks the shits and declined an interview with him, thus, Bert is really demanding a trade from the Canucks and wants to play for Italy in Turin

Anybody going to check this out?

Mario is out due to Penguin comitments, and Morrison draws in.

What are these Penguin commitments that are more important than National Team duty? Shouldn't Sidney be out here w/ either camp, considering he's the next great Canadian star?

Yeah, need some tweaking. The socks may not be bad, but the jersey needs a bit more bagyness to be a hockey jersey. Besides, some players will look like a sausage in it.

Here's my early picks from the 81 pre-selected players.

Goalies:
Brodure, Luongo, Theodore
Defense:
Hannan, Jovo, Blake, Pronger, Redden, Neidermayer.
Reserve: McCabe & Phaneuf before aging and slower Foot.
Forwards:
Lemueix between Crosby & Iginla
Lecavalier between Heatley & Spezza
Sakic between Tanguay & Karyia
Thorton between Gagne & Bertuzzi
Reserve: Smyth (Captain Canada), Nash, Staal & Richards

Try to Fcuk with that team... I don't see a weak link anywhere!!!

Not bad, but I'd put Smyth ahead of Karyia. Paul's a bit washed up.

Your the weak linkI don't even want to reply because you are so....so stupid and apparantly don't know a lick of beans about hockey here is the lines and by the way brush up on your hockey skills bud....Karyia Spezza if lemueix doesn't play which he will, oh yeah i think Gretzky might sit richards since he won a gold at the Worlds

Here I found this quote for you: Simon Gagne, Joe Sakic and Jarome Iginla are locks. So are Brad Richards, Lecavalier and Heatley.

Odds are the same can be said of Ryan Smyth, Kris Draper and Martin St-Louis, and for that matter, Shane Doan, Joe Thornton and, if healthy, Rick Nash.

Where's bertuzzi....injured reserve

Franchy, you're a muppet without a fcuking scooby, therefore you must be a Leafs fan!!! Just because a guy has won before doesn't make him a "lock"... Why should it??? You need a mix of speed & skill, experience, youth, size and the hottest players right now not who's done what when!!! Fcukin tosser!!!

Keeps, it is definately hard to keep Captain Canada off this team, but Karyia is back playing with confidence on a Nashville team that is actually winning... He only turned 31 last month, so I wouldn't say he's washed up just yet...

Hey Guinney, the team you put together looks pretty
solid. I hope the real team does come out close to it.
It's a good mix of age, talent and experience.

When you have Pat Quinn behind the bench, and Gretz breathing down his neck, you can afford to let a couple of young players run wild. Team Canada will not lose for lack of preparation and leadership.

Crosby has to be there...he's playing very well, he's a game breaker, and he's the chosen one. I'd slide Paul into the reserves, and pencil in Staal. See his shot tonight? He's on fire, and as long as he stays healthy, we may as well ride his momentum.

Christ...getting goose bumps! Can't wait!

It's true they guys should be there...but this is old rules and Gretzky will stick with the grit of Draper and Doan before bringing in younger guys. Staal, Crosby and Bertuzzi unfournatly could see themselves on the reserves, although Nash is seeming unfit to go so Bert might be in. Karya may get a break from playing in the past but it's highly unlikly Gretzky will break up a winning combination

Not a chance Bert will. He was a lock for the WC, before the Moore incident. He was a lock as soon as he came off suspension, and now that he's playing a hell of a lot better, he's a lock again.

Kariya didn't make the WC squad because of his poor play, so no, I wouldn't consider him a lock. If he's playing well at selection time, he has an edge over others because of past service, and sorry, winning experience.
