#1 USC at #9 ND

Saturday October 15 at 12:30pm.

Reading all different kinds of reports on this game, and most are calling it to be one of the best games out there. USC who has been 29 and 1 in there last 30 games head into South Bend where the Irish are playing there 2nd home game of the season. Losing the 1st one in OT to MSU, ND will not be looking at losing there 2nd home game... well i hope they aren't!!!

nd has one of the more solid teams to grace their pitch since rudy cracked the line up, but comparing them with with usc.....thats a stretch best left to yoga instructors. that game against msu will IMO be the best game of the year.......but they lost!! and msu is no usc if you catch my drift.

No MSU is no USC, actually there is only one USC and they have been dominating the past couple of years. But that dominating will have to stop one day, and i hope its' this saturday. ND has a tough schedule with a lot of ranked teams, and tehy have showed that they can play with them. with exception to the MSU loss in OT, ND has taken out some top teams.... Hoping to add USC to the list!!!

should be a great game to watch if its televised

. i disagree with the tough schedule comment though. i think other than the usc game they have it fairly easy considering they only have one road game left. i think tennesse is overrated(ranked), and if nd wants to be classed as a top ten rank they need to be able to stomp mudholes in teams like B.Y., navy and stanford.

1) It will be televised. NBC 12:30pm

2) Yes the last part of the schedule is not that tough, and them being home games as well to boot, but to start your first 5 games off, playing 4 of them on the road, against 4 top 25 teams if it was spread around fine, but one after another.

All in all should be a good game... *knock on wood*.

just kiddin bout the tv stuff. ND is televised more often than the maple leafs. i'll definately be taking this one in.

USC will not crush ND. They will win, but not as confortably as they are used to winning.

USC is damn near an NFL team as far as skill, size, and speed are concerned.
ND has Chucky Weiss as their Fearless Leader, and he is 1/2 the reason for The Patriots Super Bowls in recent history.

Go Irish, but... The Trojans will win, but not cover.

I thought I knew what I was doing Saturday, but I forgot all about this game, how thinhs change... 8)

Agreed that it was an awesome game... been a long time since I felt "into" a college game, the atmosphere was terrific!

That was, perhaps the best Football game ever played.
ND Played Epic! USC is Reggie Bush, Leinhardt, and a pile of other future probowlers.
Weiss is the man. What a way to lose, but then... That's why they play the games.
