| Sorry forgot to start this thread.... No not because ND sucks this year... just haven't had time to do so. Anyway here we go. Another College football season has started. Some good games on opening weekend. California - Tennesse was a great game, Notre Dame is rebuilding yet the freshman QB looks pretty decent going 4 for 5 for about 60 yards. Defense looked not great either. But they have Weiss as a head coach. He'll get them going. Big story was Apalachian state's upset victory of #5 Michigan!!! Why so big, They aren't even in the Division I bracket. They are a division II school. Huge blow to Michigan. Who are no longer ranked and have NO chance at winning the National title this year. Here are this week's top 25: AP Top 25 1. USC (59) 2. LSU (5) 3. West Virginia (1) 4. Florida 5. Oklahoma 5. Wisconsin 7. Texas 8. Louisville 9. Virginia Tech 10. California 11. Georgia 12. Ohio State 13. UCLA 14. Penn State 15. Rutgers 16. Nebraska 17. Auburn 18. Arkansas 19. TCU 20. Hawaii 21. Georgia Tech 22. Boise State 23. Texas A&M 24. Tennessee 25. Clemson

| Premium Member A Better Bastard | Hawaii's quarterback, Colt Phillips threw for 6 touchdowns and 411 yards in ONE HALF of play in the first game. This offense is going to be racking up points left, right, and center and I look forward to watching them in a decent bowl game...... Go Boise State. |

| ND with another loss. Penn State this past weekend. It's a rebuilding season as is next. Freshmen QB looked good. yet they weren't throwing anythnig passed 10 yards. The only thing ND has this year that others don't is the toughest schedule!!! Fcku is it rough. But then again you only become the best, playing the better teams. Go Irish Go!!

| Not too bright BANNED | Bad choice BJB. U W's schedule is one of the toughest in the nation. Remember they play in a difficult Pac 10. and have a good non-conference schedule of Boise State, Ohio State, Hawaii and Syracuse. They play USC, UCLA, Cal and Oregon. 7 ranked teams at least when they played them. Notre Dame has USC, Boston College, Penn state and UCLA. They also play Duke and Army. The 2 teams actually share 3 opponents. USC, Stanford and UCLA. Last edited by BlazeArmy; 09-14-2007 at 08:46 AM. |
