What's everyone favorite college nicknames? I'm trying to see if there are any out there I don't know and can add to my useless sports knowledge area of the brain.

I'm still a big fan of the Demon Deacons.

Oglethorpe University Stormy Petrels....i think they play in the East Coast Hockey League. Last I heard they beat the Charlsetown Chiefs 3-2 in a brawl filled affair.

Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University Gobblers. All girls school....one would hope.

Marshall Thundering Herd....just because.

Sadly, it doesn't matter what Duke or UNC are doing this year, because UConn is going to run away with the National title, unless one of Gordon, Okafor, Brown (either one) or Villanueva goes down with major injury.
