Thumbs up 2004 BC Soccer Awards
Here's a listing of the main awards handed out a couple of weeks ago at the big BC Soccer Fest banquet:

SR. Coach - Dave Fiorvento
BCSA Award for coaching excellence - Chris Bennett
BCSA Award for refereeing excellence - Werner Schwan
JR. Player - Jodi Ann Robinson
Sr. Player - Josh Simpson
JR. Official - Daniel Greiner
SR. Official - Simon Fearn (ARRGGH!!)
AC Sanford Award - Lifetime Achievement - Ken Fowler
President's Award - Lower Island Women's Soccer League

Apparently they do not hand out team or club of the year awards. Too bad really, GEU Black Knights were a shoe-in

Anyways, congrats to Spadapeep for the Coach of the Year award, good luck getting a repeat (had to say it)

Not only did he win this prestigous award, but more importantly, wasn't he between the posts a couple weeks back when an 11 man Peg schooled Rangers?

Yes, the defending National Champs beat the Over 35 Rangers team.
