But, I am going to complain -- 2 PM at Ambleside! You get sunny Sunday afternoons at a beautiful park, we get dark rainy Friday nights at 9 PM on the turf -- just what I need after a long week at work. Bobby are you listening -- there is a lesson here. Oh well, I can see that there will have to be much more piss-taking from the actual sidelines this year. See you all Sunday afternoons. |

| Member  | Re: VMSL Masters Sept/Oct Trece, Westside's entry as an O-40 team into 3rd divsion is a mix of guys who have had enough of premier and other guys who are joining the funnest team in the league...we don't need no stinking playing cards to have a good time! So it looks like we're signing 50 or so old bastards between the 2 teams! Actually I hope one of our guys will have a chance to play with his son who's signing for our U-21 squad as a 16 year old (great player!). I am not coaching the premier team this year, i've signed with the 3rd div team but I think I'll miss most of the games due to coaching my son's last year in juvenile. At least I assume they're playing Sundays like last year. I hope it's a good competitive schedule but I shudder to think of what it might be like...no offense to any 3rd division teams out there but I have visions of fit 31 year old guys who haven't played a lot of soccer, taking a break from hockey for a year or something, playing more of a rugby game. Oh well it should be good and hopefully it will set up the O-40 league for next year...what happened to all the fcuking hands that went up by the way when Willie was asking for committed teams?
