| Give Me Strength A Better Bastard | Speaking of being bored in the snow, I will throw out a couple of predictions. Columbus and Cliff will win their respective sides. If they play off for the league title, Columbus will win.

| Give Me Strength A Better Bastard | Actually, when you look at it thus far, the Mighty 22nd Ave Lions could get promoted! Them or Meralomas it looks like. I think T-Idiot's crew are pretty well a lock.

| Member | Yes we did get off to a slow start but since the middle of October of 2006 we lost one game and that was to West Van in the League cup and then in the final. I do believe defence wins championships but if you have only one guy as a threat to score goals "Yours Truly" and you have as many goals against as points you are in trouble. |

| Member | Hose: It is a long season....Never count out any team. Even us. Two examples come to mind...Westside and FF. FF winning it all after a sub par season. Not easy to do I know but it can happen. Westside making the finals a few years back as well after a good run in the provincials. There are six teams easy that can go on a run. So, enjoy your wins while they last. You never know when it comes to a halt... SCK |

OK - I'll go out on a limb - my prediction is that two teams in the League Cup final four will not be in the top two on their side. Any takers ? Last edited by Taxman; 12-04-2007 at 07:38 PM. | |

| Member | Taxman, rarely do I agree with your posts, but I will agree with you most of the way - not just because we won't be at the top, but I am sure that the final 2 teams will not be the top 2 in the league. |

| Member | Four great games coming up, Wickham will be primed for Cup after playing the best. They have been close all year, if we can get the lads focused, we won't be owing anyone points come Cup time. Sometimes at the end of the year there is no substitute for working hard (well maybe 30 players on the roster might help.) Top two or not, everyone will be in for a battle. |

| Give Me Strength A Better Bastard | So far this week, Wickham vs West Van was postponed, and Firemen beat up on Cracovia, sending them back to Div. 1 in the process. I see that the SU vs Westside game tomorrow has been postponed (good news for SU staff report). But there are three games scheduled to go ahead tomorrow, so I will throw out a few predictions: Columbus vs Metro Ford at BLSCW (0900). If this one is not frozen out, Columbus. Inter vs PCOV at Hastings Bowl North (1000). If Nick plays, Inter. If Nick does not play, tie. Sapperton vs Cliff Ave at Hastings Bowl North (noon). Sapp will bolster their lineup with some Prem players for this one. Sapperton.
