Next thing we know Normie will start posting...

I predict the following:

a) there will be cards and dubious officiating decisions
b) there will be even more dubious plays on the pitch
c) players will consume carbonated hop-based beverages post-game
d) several of us will be yelled at by our spouses upon returning home
e) there will be drunken posting on Sunday night

Actually, does anyone know much about Roma? I think they were div 3 last year? I could be wrong.

Roma were actually a quality team - when all their players showed up. If they do, you will have your hands full. We lost to them once in a squeaker, and thrashed them in the return game when they were shorthanded.

They had some attendance issues; otherwise they probably would have won the division. Good pace up the middle, and aggressive over the ball. Their keeper is an extremely mobile guy with great hands.

After watching SFU last week, I don't know if they can do it. If they can score against the Blues early, maybe they can, but comparing what I've seen this year of the two sides, I don't think so.

Good luck this weekend. Adanac is a lot smaller pitch than you guys are used to.

Go on the FVSL website and look under the fields and click on Mclean...it gives a map

its pretty easy really though, take Lougheed hwy into Poco turn on Oxford then again on Fraser and you will run into it.

odd game today in that we really didnt get anything going and looked like we had no want to win the game.
Roma has some real quality players and played hard all game, they deserved the 3 points and we didnt...plain and simple
Hopefully next week we can figure it out and get back on the winning side.

Full marks to Roma today. I would not say domination by Roma but 3 points deserved. Poco finishing was to say the least subpar. Myself included. Truly a wake up call for Poco who were thinking they were "cokc of the walk" after the last two weeks. There will be adjustments!!!!
