| No, really, I am... A Total Bastard | PCSL season is now in full swing. SU battered Kamloops 5-1 Saturday in the 28+ degree heat, followed by us squeaking out a late win vs Kelowna today to cap a 6 point weekend and take 1st over all at 4-0. (Previous wins over Khalsa 2-1 and PAU 6-4) Old man futbol was a rock at the back today too. JB playing on permit scored a cheeky goal on a daring run late in the first today to pull Surrey even after going down early and then a super subs first touch ends up in the back of the Kelowna net with 10 left for a late 2-1 win today. I hate the heat. |

| Premium Member A Better Bastard | Are you guys playing kick and run in the PCSL, KNVB? I believe Thriller had mentioned that. Whatever works, right? So, if Surrey United goes on to win the PCSL, is that you automatically in the Provincials next year? |

| No, really, I am... A Total Bastard | No, of course not Burnsie... that is almost an Indo exclusive. The only other team we can play kick and run on with any efficiency is Wet Van, Inter, Clan, Firefighters, Delta, AFC, Sapperton, Croatia, Metro Ford, Norvan, and Westside… Everyone else has caught on so we changed it up for this summer. I have no idea if a BC spot is up for grabs this summer to be honest. |

| Premium Member A Better Bastard | ![]() Dave, are you playing tomorrow night? Any idea when the t-shirts might be ready? BTW, great deal on t-shirts by KNVB........ a nice plug for the company but it's been great for the Devils.......ALWAYS gives the best deal...... |

| Respect & Honour A Total Bastard | So if I can piece together the results over the weekend and the last updated standings, Victoria are champs with Slurrey runners-up and Kalsa coming in 3rd. From what I've heard, Victoria won't take the BC provincial spot and I would assume Slurrey will decline as well. Does this mean Khalsa will be in the BCs next year? Quick, HOS, you can still transfer! ![]()

| Member | I got this write up from the PCSL website...... very well written ![]() Khalsa goes down 4-1 to Rapids July 20 - Khalsa falls four to one to PSSA Rapids, Vancouver Thunderbirds fall three to zero to Wolves. Not a very good weekend for eather club. Yet Khalsa makes play offs. After all it was a very good season even with one or two games that went wrong. All the hard work goes to Michael Brkich and the club President and the coach Parm Gill. (Contributed by Marc Brkich) |

| Respect & Honour A Total Bastard | Why would they take it? I heard key players come from other winter clubs - plus I can't see Marty wanting what amounts to, at this time, a backdoor entry into the BCs.

| Respect & Honour A Total Bastard | I was with your wife, even waved at you as we cuddled during the final.

| Respect & Honour A Total Bastard | KNVB probably does but I suspect Millar has banned all TTP posts by Slurrey players. It's the only explanation. ![]()

| No, really, I am... A Total Bastard | Victoria beat Khalsa 2-0 and Seattle beat SU 3-2 in PK's yesterday. Not sure what happened in the finals today. I do know Seattle was rubbish and we squandered about 100 chances to win. Smiley saved 2 PK's and they hit the bar on another yet we still managed to choke it away. Not a good year for SU and PK's. I'd put good money Victoria lumps(d) Seattle. |

| Respect & Honour A Total Bastard | I think yesterday the results were: Khalsa 0-2 Victoria Slurrey 2-3 Seattle (PKs) Anyone else? ![]()
