| Respect & Honour A Total Bastard | Hmmm, does 8-rinks have a drop-in league? Anyone know?

| Member | We have had four people move out of town over the summer and are two aside short... the Saturday Soccer guys have asked for a recruitment drive, so here goes -- will the power of the internet fill the field? Come out and find out. No age or skill requirements need to be met with this crowd, everyone is welcome! It is free, and it is on grass -- how can you beat that... Kickoff at 1:15 PM; just west of Willingdon off Goard (across from BCIT just south of Canada Way, turn west at the flashing light) on the Willingdon detention-centre field. Always a good game -- beer, food, TTP and plinking follows until it gets too dark. Rain or shine, sleet or hail... it is always a good run. Playing here qualifies you for Wednesday soccer at Burnaby Lake Sports Complex -- 5:30 PM drop in soccer. We have openings there too -- but there is a $5 fee for the turf field at 8 rinks. |
