| Premium Member A Better Bastard | I don't know how many of you guys actually check out the ad's on the site, but I noticed the Soccercity Christmas sale one and checked it out yesterday. For anyone who needs anything, go, freakin smoking deals. I picked up a pair of Preds for 50% off, along with a ton of other stuff. If you're like me and have teamates constantly borrowing gear from you send them, they'll find stuff and quit bothering you. |

| Respect & Honour A Total Bastard | So what did everyone pick up? I went with a new pair of Preds for $125 - almost got the completely all black ones but instead went with a bit of white.

| Sad Bastard A Better Bastard | I bought two pairs of ACBC Special Mittens by Umbro. They are warm, keep my hands dry, and have little rubbery thingy's on the finger tips so I can actually appear to know what I am doing on throw-ins now. I also picked up some new Adidas Compression Shorts, and a few rolls of tape. I guess the sale is done and dusted, I wish I had bought the new Gers top at 50% off, (did not realize till it was too late that SC did indeed have it and that it was marked down from $130 to $65 (if my math is right on 50% off)) Just bought two ew pairs of boots, so I missed out there...I should have bought more for reserve supply...but I'm sure one of these sales will re-surface sometime in the next 18 months. |

| Sad Bastard A Better Bastard | I Just wanted to make a quick post that our friend knvb did up some team bags for some of the Nomads guys, and they did an absolutley unreal job on some bags that near impossible to find in North America (Type with seperate compartment in bottom to house foul stinky and wet boots, socks etc) and had our initials and Team Name embroidered... Great price and quick turnaround. Good job knvb, at least I don't think you are a cnut. ![]() I have attached the pictures knvb emailed me. ![]() Last edited by johnnybluenose; 01-30-2008 at 12:07 PM. |
