Being a liver down i am just the coach, Rob Brown beat to the right back position. However Bob Sawtell is hurt and returning in May, so i just might have an outside chance of getting the striker position if the other 400 other ref's don't take it.

LUFC Nomads 3 - 2 City FC Rangers

Clearly neither team was fielding their actual squad so we wont get into who's better

Rangers up 2-0 at half, and we scored with the last kick of the game to get the win.

Both teams played some serious kick and run, a result of not knowing who you were playing with. Rangers played Div 2, 3 and U21 players. Nomads squad was half Nomads half ACBC.

All in all a great game. Blaze thank for having us out. You have to come out to Fortress Macleod some time, we'll get the field you get the ref.

It was a pretty good night to kick a ball around,

BTW, Epic last man (keeper) effort to block carniehore from popping it in after he ran around your last 3 defenders.

It was fun last night. Weather was nice for Holly for once. seemed like the first time we had actually played in a game for a month. Not playing screws everything up.
We had 5 of our A players, 1 U-21 and everyone else was our B team muckers. Pretty close to our A team drinking squad though. You would have had no chance in that department.

Soccer was pretty ugly at times last night. Both teams would pass it around a bit and then the hump would go forward.

We'll arrange a game out there at a later date.

The roster mix should make the transition from Nomad to ACBC easier for some guys.
