In my defense, Chief:

#1 noted that after I committed the heinous crime. Couldn't see where to correct this afterward by moving the message to a new thread, so I awaited capture and execution by the TTP police and went back to work instead.

#2 my previous post on this topic was timely to my situation in the summer. We didn't have a keeper to play against the likes of Animal, Smallsy, Showtime, Vinnie, CIC and the other reprobates who populate the dark recesses of the Airport League in the summer time, and actually ended up with a surplus of them in June, when that post was made. Unfortunately for us, that situation has changed. Keeper #1's employment situation has changed and he will be leaving us at the end of next month. Keeper #2 is having pins pulled from his ankle (the result of an old injury) and will be out of commission for most of the rest of the season. Keeper #3, fresh off the boat from Auld Blighty, signed with Bombastic, not realizing that he couldn't play in more than one BCSA-sanctioned league, and is now lost to us. Thus, I'm back where I started, but in September. I think the elapsed time should cut me some slack.....

#3 Others may extrapolate thus quite wrongly. I'm not bad; I'm evil. However, I respect that you have to run this ship, and consider myself appropriately (if maybe a bit too resoundingly) chastised. At least by somebody's standards....Don't you have some barely functionally literate folks on other threads that you should be taking this moderating urge out upon?
