At first glance Group B looks stronger, anyone agree?

Depends with what type of team Peg manages to put together... Can't wait to get out to the first Peg v Muckerloma match!

There was a Pegasus team playing out in Langley on Tuesday night, they looked very strong especially up front.

I agree group B is stronger...but its marginal.
Who knows what can happen over the summer.
Plus the Muckerlomas discredit the entire division......

Group B looks much tougher. There are about 5 teams there that can win it. In group A it might be Wickham. We'll see if the Olympics can finally pull it all together. I hear that the core of PCOV is going there.

I agree, side 'B' definitely has some strong teams, but looking at the lineup, based on this past season, if Sikh keeps the core of their team, they should win promotion to Premier. Having said that, there are a couple of teams in there who are capable of taking points off anyone, so you never know.

Side 'A' could prove just as tough though, as there are more evenly matched teams in this group. I believe the door is open for any one of five teams to earn a Premier spot:
  • With Khalsa, who knows what players will turn out for them this year, so they are the definite unknown.
  • Then you have Wickham, WFC Rangers, Cliff Ave., Vancouver Olympics, and ourselves who are all very evenly matched, so anything is possible on side 'A'.
The groupings should provide for some very exciting matches in Div. 1 this year.

Well i see everyone has a dislike for the so called muckerlomas but the fact is when it matters the most they always seem to pull out a victory in true style. Unlike the whiney bastards on half the other teams.

Yes, the Muckalomas truly are legends of the VMSL circuit. Well done, boys.

How come the muckerlomas keep turning down promotion to Premier then? What alias do the muckerlomas play under in the Imperial Cup every year?

Style? Last time I looked style did not mean a bunch of half-bald, fully-fat, hairy-legged hobbits kicking the bejesus out of a white ball around a bumpy soccer pitch wearing pumpkin colored shirts, matte black shorts and two different colored socks. Stick to rugby, boys.
